Thank you. I checked. There are 5 currently active heliocentric artificial satellites (including Rosetta).
You guys might want to check out “Kaslin” and “SunkenCiv” for excellent science and engineering posts.
They usually post late at night, like I do, and the audience is a bit more appreciative, but not always.
I agree, though, that a lot of really cool science posts degenerate quickly to bad puns and Photoshop humor.
