It would depend on whether you cook it together with the solid waste product just supplied by Barilla...
I buy the store brand now, or just use rice.
Saves us a lot of money, anyway. Sorry Barilla owner, it was your decision.
Nothing would surprise me with this group of thugs.
While there are companies that have been vocal about their support for gays, diversity, tolerance, and all that crap, there are many more that have taken the same stance but done it quietly.
They aren’t just catering to the gays, they are also catering to the people who feel all warm and fuzzy when they say they support diversity, tolerance, gays, minorities, etc... these people align themselves and take their business to the companies who publicly support all those warm and fuzzy key words and phrases.
Those who make decisions based on emotion and how it makes them look are outnumbering those that make decisions based on logic, intelligence, wisdom, and what is right.
If nobody bought Barilla anymore the problem would remain. America has gone godless in its heart. Its faith is usually shallow.
It’s kind of like meat offered to idols. I won’t ask questions about it as long as nobody says something about it. But if people start trumpeting how it’s offered to idols, I will refrain from eating it lest I set a bad example.
If Barilla now revolts you, research store brands. They vary in quality.
There is a phalanx of devils in the country now, pushing people to do self destructive things. But it didn’t get there overnight and it was largely invited.
Never heard of the company; I guess they don’t distribute here.
Indeed, you are correct. God and I had a major falling out many years ago. I have since made amends. It is easy, almost trendy, to throw God to the curb when you are young, especially in the current state of times. It is a sad fact that plagues many of our youth and even follows many into adulthood.
We are in a very difficult period that I believe will get much worse before it gets any better.
It’s common, but perhaps not universally US wide, in groceries.
Its quality is pretty fair for dried pasta. I knew a very good Italian style eatery chain in the Chicago area that used nothing but Barilla pasta.
Sounds like an “HR coup” took place. For whatever it’s worth, if observant Christian America took part in a disgust-cott and let Barilla’s top executives know, it would be worth it whether or not they manage to make a further impact.
Put homos in your ads, and I won’t buy it.
It’s that simple.
If that means I end up living without anything retail,
so be it.
