President Obama's announcement tonight may bring a “constitutional crisis,” in the words of Rep. Mike Simpson (R-ID), but Republicans in Congress haven't the damndest idea what they'll do about it.
As they departed the House floor, many en route to the airport for a Thanksgiving recess, many GOP lawmakers seemed as interested in explaining why options floated by colleagues from their own party wouldn't work as denouncing what they describe as an unprecedented power grab by a president they just decimated at the ballot box.
“That's the hundred million dollar question,” said Rep. Pat Tiberi (R-OH), “How do you stop an inaction? That's the tough question that I don't have the answer to today....Just to go a step further: 'shut the government down.' That doesn't stop this inaction. Don't fund immigration service. That doesn't stop this inaction. How do you stop this inaction?”

It's beyond idiotic to claim that until they takeover the Senate in January. Republicans must have the power to block Obama nominees and control the budget process before they can do a thing.
You're doing exactly what liberals and Obama were hoping for -- causing divisions and attacking Republicans -- before there is a chance to even take congressional action.

In defense of the Republicans: There was a lot of speculation about what bh0 would announce as his ‘amnesty plan’ in the last few weeks. Yes, that speculation could be used for contingency planning, but an actuall plan could not be made until bh0 actually announced his executive order. Other than initial reaction comments I was not expecting a “republican plan” to be rolled out within minutes of the conclusion of yesterday’s speech.
Now the Republicans will have a few days to examine the actual text of the EO, if it has been released, and begin their actual planning.

Are they planning yet another law, resolution, letter or worthless legislative action? It is of no consequence to a con artist and outlaw. If this is all they have under consideration, they labor under a defeatist misconception? They (the Communists) are going for broke this time around. He acted on the basis of a consensus of Egyptians who understood the dire straits the country was headed in. How do you know they are in the midst of developing a comprehensive plan to nullify Obama’s amnesty order? If I were in their place and working and researching on it, I sure wouldn’t go spouting off about it. Keep it tight to your chest until ready to unfurl.
