Saturday on C-SPAN’s Book TV, CIA Benghazi annex security team members Kris Paronto and Mark Geist answered questions about a report released Friday by the House Intelligence Committee on the 9/11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in 2012. The two former CIA contractors pushed back forcefully against parts of the the committee’s conclusions about the night that Ambassador Chris Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed in Benghazi.
The report by the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), chaired by Republican Rep. Mike Rogers, concluded that “the CIA ensured sufficient security for CIA facilities in Benghazi” and that “appropriate U.S. personnel made reasonable tactical decisions that night.” The committee “found no evidence that there was either a stand down order or a denial of available air support.” The report, according to the House Intelligence Committee, is meant to serve as the “definitive House statement on the Intelligence Community’s activities before, during, and after the tragic events that caused the deaths of four brave Americans” so that the American public can separate “facts from the swirl of rumors and unsubstantiated allegations.”

According to Trey Gowdy, however, his special Benghazi committee has collected testimony from many of those on the scene who had been silenced. And they will be called to testify in public once the new Congress is seated.
The coordination of the totality of forces of the government of The United States Of America rests on the shoulders of The President Of The United States. Everything about Benghazi was screwed up and the responsibility for that rests with Barack Obama.
He was elected to see to this. That is his job. It’s in his job description. He begged for this job twice.
We had a saying in the military. “I don’t give a s**t about ‘Who shot John?’. Did you succeed?”
Everyone can get caught up in all of the details. The important thing is, did we succeed? No. And Barack Obama is responsible for that failure. If he didn’t want the responsibility, he shouldn’t have twice begged for this job.

and he should get a formal appology from the entire Democratic side of the aisle.
This is the Obama administration that we are dealing with, remember and that committee was probably told that any revelations beyond proveable crimes were a violation of national security secrets.
As a matter of fact, I read a leaked article about the report before the election, obviously intended to take Benghazi out of the media for the election and that was what it said, nothing illegal.
I’m referring to the first hearing shortly after the attack in Benghazi.
The very first hearing was where Roger’s big finding was there was absolutely no connection whatsoever between the protest in Egypt and the attack, which is a flat out lie to cover up for Hillary.

As to the protest in Egypt, you might want to read Timmerman’s book Dark Forces and see what he was told about that protest; planned in advance and the objective was having the blind sheik’s son present to demand the release of the father from U.S. prison.
The article states “the CIA ensured sufficient security for CIA facilities in Benghazi”.
That would be the “Annex” NOT the “Diplomatic Mission” which, basically, had no security except for 8(?) members of the “Regional Security Office” most of which were cut off from “Villa A”. Sean Smith was an “Information Management Officer (IMO)” with the State Dept. The “Martyrs Brigade” (the local security force) ran away before the attack.
Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, by the way, were members of the Annex (CIA) Security Office and were killed there.
The people who wrote this report make me sick. They are just parsing their words. Disgusting.
Yes, but did the CIA provide adequate security to their people at their facility? No. They were calling for help and then took off.
The whole BENGHAZI story is cloudy, but it gets real cloudy at the CIA facility. How did they get out of there? They were under attack by a significant and well-prepared force. They were getting mortared. Suddenly, everything stops and they leave? Nope. I don’t believe that for a second. Obama agreed to the blackmail. That’s why the 30 CIA people at their facility at BENGHAZI can’t talk. Obama surrendered.
Testimony is evidence.
The report is a lie. I have seen the testimony myself.

My mistake.
The purpose of the protest in Egypt was to create the “spontaneous” lie and cover up the fact the dems have been collaborating with the terrorist and orchestrating news stories as part of the preparation for the terrorist attacks.
Basically it’s intent was to make it appear as if the terrorist are picking up on news stories and “spontaneously” planning an attack based on what is in the news instead of the dems orchestrating the news for the attacks.
The original “spontaneous” lie was in 1993 with the 1st WTC bombing.
The dems pushed and pushed to get Bush to send troops into Somalia where OBL was then when the attack took place claimed it was a spontaneous response to Bush sending troops into Somalia.
In reality the 1st WTC attack was planned in 1991 with the R King video. That’s why Hillary used a video as a excuse for the protest.
The LA riots of 1992 were called a “spontaneous” response to the not guilty verdict when in reality the initial rioters didn’t have a clue about the not guilty verdict meaning the riots were planned.
The 1st WTC bombing was timed to correspond with the 2nd trial of the LA police and more riots were being planned.
Oh, I fully agree that the testimony is proof enough for me, but this is the Obama administration that we are dealing with.

IMHO the CIA dumped on their people. They were giving some rather interesting arms to some rather unsavory fellows in Syria via Turkey. Couldn’t let that out just before an election could we?

Since the republicans did not take any testimony from the other over 3 dozen people under fire nor even ask where clinton and obama were on 9-11-12 and why they stopped any help from arriving and why weapons were being given to the terrorists they now say yep there was nothing anyone could do about these poor guys then yes it was a fundraising story for them to use. Yeah just coincidence they swept it away right after the election and more then 2 years of hearings.
