Officer Darren Wilson has, through his legal team, put out a statement reacting to the news tonight he will not be indicted by the Ferguson grand jury for the shooting of Michael Brown.
Here is the statement in full:
Today, a St. Louis County grand jury released its decision that no charges would be filed in the case involving Officer Darren Wilson. From the onset, we have maintained and the grand jury agreed that Officer Wilsons action on August 9 were in accordance with the laws and regulations that govern the procedures of an officer.
In a case of this magnitude, a team of prosecutors rightfully presented evidence to this St. Louis County grand jury. This group of citizens, drawn at random from the community, listened to witnesses and heard all the evidence in the case. Based on the evidence and witness testimony, the grand jury collectively determined there was no basis for criminal charges against Officer Wilson.
Law enforcement personnel must frequently make split-second and difficult decisions. Officer Wilson followed his training and followed the law.
We recognize that many people will want to second-guess the grand jurys decision. We would encourage anyone who wants to express an opinion do so in a respectful and peaceful manner.
On a side note, Officer Wilson would like to thank those who have stood by his side throughout the process. This continued support is greatly appreciated by Officer Wilson and his family.
Moving forward, any commentary on this matter will be done in the appropriate venue and not through the media.

Sorry..just discovered NOT Officer Wilson....sheesh!
Oh gawd. She’s actually calling for RIOTS.
OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH
True.
Zimmerman is a jinx of a goofball.
It’s a hoax...
That’s when I had to change channels. I am sick of this cr@p.
Dude, that’s not Officer Wilson...
That’s not officer Darren?
No...
Oh yeah. Me, too.
My advice to officer Wilson, never grant NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSLSD an interview because they would doctor the tape like they did with George Zimmerman.
I’m not surprised at that, since it looks like he does on TV.
I hold police to a fairly high standard, after all, they are our employees.
That said there was justice here if what I read is true.
Just one criticism...If I wanted to subdue someone and I had put 3,4..5 rounds into him I think I would replace my pistol and get out the stick.
Or a feather duster and a loofah.
Three or four into the center of mass and the perp is on life support...why not get out of the way, or the stick/taser/dog/pepper spray?
10-12 shots?
Officer Wilson needs to go underground, change his name and move to the left coast.
Seems he was thrown under the bus for the news cycle.
The man did as he was instructed and he should not be dragged through the mud for that.
Good luck Darren.
I was within 2’ of him.
Mascara too.
What a queen!
