Because he (rightly) instinctively ducked from a loaded gun?

It happened to me under much lesser circumstances. I got uptight about snowballs falling over in my car on passenger side floor, and knee-jerk reached over to right them. Thus turning the wheel of my parents’ car and ramming it into the next parked car.

Well, that makes it even more questionable. That would be quite a turn about, from pointing straight ahead to turnin and pointing at her head.

If you notice, all the recent gun “accidents” seem to hit the victim in the head, usually in the face. The other “accidents” all involved children. Studies show that this type of “accidents” , involving children, are not really accidents at all, but rather intentional acts of violence by children too young to fully understand the consequences.

A neighbor kid, who lived up the street from us, once took a broom stick and shoved it up his brother’s scrotum, when the poor kid was only four. That was called an accident, too.

How did we get from discussing how the car turned to how the gun turned?

Even so, have you ever seen accidents inside? Things go flying, including one’s arms and body parts. Hell, people go flying out windows. It’s not shocking her hand might get turned inward, palm still holding the gun, a quick jerk on the trigger - bam.

Could there be foul play? Sure. Just not very evident here.

Also, I fail to see how a “boyfriend” would be on any insurance policy.

Not that kind of food l ply. It is possible that the boyfriend got mad at the stupid girl and grabbed her hand and pointed the gun back at her, causing him too lose control of the car and boom.

” There’s a few more:

1. Don’t move a vehicle with a gun that is loaded. Unload the gun, then you can drive. (modified version of keep the gun unloaded until you are ready to shoot)
2. Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.”

Those aren’t a “few more”.

1. Driving with a loaded gun is fine, those of us with CCW permits do it all the time, as do the police.

2. “Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.” is the same as “3) Don’t point the gun at anything you don’t wish to destroy.” The wording of the latter drives home the point more strongly.

The rules I quoted are emphatically what the NRA advocates, and if followed will prevent any accidental shooting incidents.
