When a police officer shoots a young, unarmed black man in the streets, then does not face indictment, anger in the community is inevitable.

Why is it inevitable? Do circumstances around the shooting mean nothing? Is this statement actually an indictment of the minority races that they are unable to control their emotions? That blind revenge is their only driving force? That blacks must be coddled and treated as 'special' cases? Had Officer Wilson been killed instead, would that have given caucasians license to riot and burn? Do black lives matter -more- than caucasian lives? How is that 'equality' and not out and out racism?

"Peaceful protesting is a luxury only available to those safely in mainstream culture."

Uh...no. Peaceful protesting is "available" to everyone.

And protesting is not a "luxury".

When claiming victimhood, it is important to find an actual victim as your cause.

Repeat the lie often enough and it becomes fact.

You really have to wonder if there isn’t a script for this that has been handed to the MSM with the intention of creating a national race war to justify martial law. It remains to be seen whether they can fan the flames enough to reach the desired objective.

In such a case, is rioting so wrong?

Maybe not to a liberal journalist living hundreds of miles away.

But let's go to Ferguson and ask those minority business-owners who saw their livelihoods burned to the grounds and their neighbors who now have no place to shop for groceries.

“Would she say this if conservatives were rioting...?”

Oh no no no, those Conservatives are much much worse because according to Professor Lester Flerntner of Northwestern University whose grundbreaking studies in White Privelege as applied to mesomorphic and igneous socio-geologic formations prove conclusively that they were THINKING about THINKING about rioting and instead decided to pick up the gum wrapper they may have dropped at their ultraviolent rallies on US Government property.

So Time Magazine supports domestic terrorism as long as its done by black or brown people just not white people. Gotcha.

The lack of context is stunning. Like a police office just walked up to someone and shot them for no reason.

No doubt this libtard is writing her column from the safety of some gated community in Florida. If she had to deal with what most urban police officers deal with on a daily basis, she would off herself.

That Mercedes was the one reliable, trustworthy thing in our lives.

I own a Mercedes. It drives like a dream, but its far from uber reliable. And when it DOES need repair, its very expensive. Even oil changes are obscenely expensive.

Best, most reliable car I over owned is still my Chrysler Sebring.

You notice the hand gesture in the photo. That’s not a peace sign, that’s the English version of “the bird”.

She’s a white liberal who feels guilty about having made it.

I wonder if she would follow her own advice and let black looters torch her car, ransack her home and rape her to let out all that repressed rage.

After all, she’s part and parcel of the white privileged oppressor class. If she thinks rioting, arson, pillage and mayhem are a form of dialogue, why doesn’t she invite it into neighborhood?

Or are liberals like her just bandying about words?

It should have read: When a police officer responding to a radio report is assaulted in his vehicle by the perpetrator with the stolen goods in his hands, threatened with his own weapon, charged at at high speed, even though warned to get down, and continues to shoot him after the first few bullets have no apparent effect in the assailants trajectory towards him...

I was angry because the police officer didn't get a medal.

White riot!
