(Reuters) - U.S. shoppers spent slightly less money during Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday than across the same two days in 2013, research firm ShopperTrak said on Saturday.

Went out this afternoon to get an ice cream. Sams, Walmart, and the rest of the stores were not even close to being packed. Went into Sams and people were just doing their end of month buying of essentials.
But “better than expected” and the Dow goes up 5% next week.
Our local Walmart parking lot was about half empty but there are absolutely no parking spaces anywhere at Cabella’s. Of course, Cabella’s parking lot is always full so that is no different.

Yes, this was sarcasm but it is based on the public reaction of boneheaded liberals to this event.
I saw loads of shopping bags over the past week, but I wondered how much of that buying was at discount prices and how much shopping will dwindle of the next three weeks.
I have no doubt there is less money in the economy, with those that have money having plenty of it while those that don’t have very little money. That just follows the economics of the past 6 years.
Liberals bitch that the rich get richer, but no doubt in this economy that is true. So many people are still unemployed.
