I’m not a psychologist, but I’d guess he suffered from depression, not some concussion related syndrome.

We can understand why he might have killed himself. It was just all a random act of self-violence.
Do I need to cut and paste on what is known about concussions and the state of mind it can put a person through?

I had three in the space of less than 2 years in high school & college. Temporary loss of vision first time, hospitalized with vertigo for the next two.
This was 48-50 years ago, so I think I will survive these concussions.
Sorry that the kid choose the wrong way to deal with his problems.
