So Gowdy and the GOP in Congress shouldn’t do what’s right, and should let the Democrats add trillions in cost on the back of taxpayers; bring in tens of millions of new, Leftist voters from Latin America; and suppress the wages and job opportunities for millions of low-skill Americans?

We all know how the media would spin another government shutdown.
And you can bet they are foaming at the mouth for another bite at that apple.
Is it more important to win the immediate battle or to win the long war?
Everyone has to decide that for him or her self.
But we cannot deny that the media gives Obama a great advantage in any open confrontation.
Republicans need to be smart.
Obama may think he is a cool cat, but as the old adage goes - there is more than one way to skin a cat.
The cop could pass a spending bill written by Reid and Pelosi and Obama refuse to sign it and shut down the government and the press would still blame the republicans.
The republicans just can’t seem to figure out that they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t. So, they might as well do.

The Republicans gained in the last couple of shutdowns and won Congress after one of them. They lose in their own eyes because in their own minds they are losers and must not disturb that.
