Shia areas of Iraq are fighting to keep ISIS out. While they have individuals supporting them, the greater Shia population does not. Same in Syria.

Shias = infidel enemies.
Alawites (Syria) = infidel enemies
Don't worry if you are confused. ALL muslims consider Christians and the West as infidels too so they all look the same to you.
