What makes you think this didn’t go right? I mean an American is dead isn’t he? I’m sure this is the exact outcome 0 wanted.

He was mortally wounded, but at least he died in the hands of our forces.

It is little consolation but at least his family will have a body to bury.

Of course, Obama agreed to two recent “joint” operations with the enemy (though muslim brothers of his), and both failed. No surprise there. This rises above ordinary treason to direct murder.

Bamster thinks he has a Rainbow Six organization even after he has personally over seen the total gutting and demasculating of our military.

I think Obama would be just as adverse to a successful mission. It just wouldn’t seem fair to the terrorists if all of them were killed and the hostage lived.

How the Christ-denying Muslims died is of little import compared to what they are experiencing now and for Eternity, writhing in flames and screaming for mercy that will never come.

actually the poor soul did not die in a failed rescue attempt.

He died because his kidnappers killed him.

Is there ANYTHING 0bama touches that doesn’t turn to Shiite?

OMG! Can you imagine the wailing and beating of chests if this had happened under a Republican administration?

0bama gets ANOTHER pass on another botched...whatever!

This will give the left an excuse to negotiate with hostage takers..."See? Rescue attempts are too risky, and our military can't do the job."....thereby pouring millions of taxpayer dollars into their coffers.

Here's a tip for Americans who think they're immune to risk and are "adventurous" and "just want to help the people of the region.":

Go to Disney World instead, mmmK?

My thought? I can’t speak for the family, and my heart goes out to them, but I would rather die in a failed rescue attempt than in a staged execution where my head was cut off by barbarians for their world propaganda purposes.

The people Carter tried to rescue were working for the US government.

This guy stupidly decided to go to a Muslim country without being fully armed. That’s asking for a Darwin Award.

-——This guy stupidly decided to go to a Muslim country——

I have reflected on the identical thought I made as well. The fact that a rescue was attempted is telling me the man was a CIA or other US agent.

“I have reflected on the identical thought I made as well. The fact that a rescue was attempted is telling me the man was a CIA or other US agent.”

That very well may be the case as the US government has no responsibility to risk lives of our military every time a citizen decides to enter a war zone to take pictures, interview terrorists or simply go on an adventure.
