Louisiana Senate Runoff: Cassidy (R) 56%, Landrieu (D) 40

Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy still holds a double-digit lead over incumbent Democrat Mary Landrieu going into tomorrow’s Louisiana Senate runoff.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Louisiana Voters shows Cassidy leading Landrieu by 16 points – 56% to 40%. Four percent (4%) are still undecided.

It won’t be close if republicans don’t turn out. Some may be reading these polls and decide they’ve got other things to do since they believe it’s not going to be close.

There are other people on the ballot for a few local runoff elections, and some propositions for some of the parishes as well that will help turn out the vote.

How can 4% be undecided? It’s not like they haven’t had the better part of 12 months to recognize the differences between the two candidates.
