MINNEAPOLIS - A teenager who severely beat former Hennepin County board chairman Mark Andrew at the Mall of America last year won't go to jail for her crime - and he's glad she won't.
Eighteen-year-old Deea LeShawn Elliot pleaded guilty to first-degree assault for attacking Andrew with a metal baton last December after her accomplice stole his cell phone. A judge on Tuesday sentenced her to 14 weeks of intensive counseling and a year-long immersion in an arts program of her choice. She won't go to jail if she meets those conditions.

... and beaten with a metal baton? Apparently you don’t get in trouble for doing it.

In June Elliot's co-defendant Letaija Shapree Cutler-Cain of Brooklyn Park was sentenced to 180 days in the workhouse. We have workhouses? Who knew! I believe there would be better results if there were more of Sheriff Joe's tent prisons and chain gangs.

The behavior of this victim is quite common in late civilizations. Such victims actually favor those that hurt them. They are willing to suffer grave bodily injury or even death at the hands of their conquerors. (See the recent article by the university student who was mugged) Oswald Spengler discusses the development as does Nietzsche.

Mark Charles Andrew (born July 15, 1950) is an American businessman and politician from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party and has served as Hennepin County Commissioner, representing the western portion of Minneapolis and St. Louis Park, as well as Chair of the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners. He also served as Chair of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party in 19951996. In 2007, Andrew founded GreenMark, an environmental marketing firm. In February 2013, Andrew announced his candidacy for Mayor in the 2013 Minneapolis mayoral election.Somehow.... I kinda suspected that he wasn't a conservative.

He sentenced her to an arts program of her choice? Won’t that encourage other aspiring “artists” to maim and kill?
