Countries thought that their gold was safer in New York than in vaults in their home countries. Not so much anymore. Thanks, Barry.

During the Cold War the European countries considered a Soviet invasion of foreign countries to be so great of risk that they kept their gold in the US rather than at home. Now that Russia actually is invading and conquering sections of other counties, the Europeans would rather have their gold closer to Russia and away from us. What does that say about their opinion of us and our government's grabbiness.

They may know something we don’t know.....FDR called in gold during the Great Depression, although it was mostly voluntary....BHO does make anything voluntary. He stole the WH and I am sure they are aware of that.
