De Blasio: Giuliani 'Fundamentally Misunderstands the Reality' of Race
The Atlantic ^ | December 7, 2014 | Allen McDuffee

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on Sunday admonished former mayor Rudy Giuliani for his repeated recent comments that "responsibility is on the black community" for reducing the necessity of police officers in their communities.

"I think he fundamentally misunderstands the reality," said de Blasio on ABC's This Week. "There is a problem here. There is a rift here that has to be overcome. You cannot look at the incident in Missouri; another incident in Cleveland, Ohio; and another incident in New York City all happening in the space of weeks and act like there's not a problem."

De Nitwit understands the black community better than Guiliani because he is a Che Guevara Marxist married to an African former lesbian

The sad reality is, the black community flatly refuses to accept any responsibility for anything.

I am very sure that if I start running around robbing stores and assaulting people the law is going to come down on me. Why should anyone expect anything else?

With people like deblowsolow telling them what they want to hear it’s no wonder.

Warren Wilhelm is a fraud. The only thing Giuliani “fundamentally misunderstands” is the reality of race baiting commie politicians changing their name to become something they are not.

Fundamental reality of race:

A white person touches a hot stove and gets burned. So in future they carefully avoid touching hot stoves.

A black person touches a hot stove and gets burned. So he now knows that stoves are racists, and need to be grabbed hard when hot to make them stop oppressing the black man.

So has Blaz dismissed his NYPD bodyguard then?

What a fun detail that must be.

Liberals are like the guy who steals at work and accuses his co-workers of stealing to draw attention away from himself. Only in this case it’s racism.

You cannot look at the incident in Missouri; another incident in Cleveland, Ohio; and another incident in New York City all happening in the space of weeks and act like there's not a problem.

Why not, DeBlasio. You've ignored hundreds of knock out game incidents without declaring that behavior a problem.

Baloney. DeBlasio’s a commie, so he misunderstands basically everything.

DeBlahblah be absolutely right.

Giuliani is enslaved by facts, a pimp for reality. ButDeblahblah understands these people. They wish every accoutrement of the "Good Life" without having to personally pay for any. They also feel that since their ancestors were "unwilling immigrants," they should not be bound by any laws of people who once enslaved them. They feel they deserve these benefits forever because in Africa, they were sold into slavery by their own people; sold to European slavers who brought them to the New World.

Giuliani thinks that was a break for them because they got to be free American citizens after we took 600,000 casualties to decide that slavery was wrong. DeBlahblah thinks it's a break for him because if they are kept together, and kept stupid, which apparently is quite easily accomplished, they will vote for him and his friends forever. They really should, because DeBlahblah and his friends will give them everything they want ... as long as they can be depended upon to do what they are told.

Cigarettes are taxed everywhere, not only in NYC, and everywhere the Mafia or jihadi groups are busy hijacking delivery trucks (sometimes killing the driver) and then selling the stolen or smuggled goods to people like Garner to sell as “tax free,” usually in front of the shop of some Indian convenience store owner who risks his life to work in the hood every day and actually pays all his taxes and fees.

Is the tax too high? Yes, but all taxes are too high in NYC, which is why I no longer live there. So campaign against the tax. But the tax doesn’t justify Garner’s actions.

No, Guiliani is stuck in retrograde linear thinking, and is not in step with the new postmodern deconstructionism, which posits that reality is a social construct. /s

The way I heard it:
Guy farts in Church and points to the White fellow sitting in front of him, smiles, nods his head a number of times, and points to the guy in front of him who doesn’t have a clue what is going on.

The fool voters of New York City are getting what they elected. Votes have consequences — didn’t Carter, Clinton and Obama teach them anything??? No.

De Blasio’s protection detail is on the order of latrine duty in Army boot camp. Assigned as punishment for infractions of some of the more egregious rules of the current City Hall cohorts.

If the officers in question had not been out there enforcing a rule set into place by the paternalistic City Council (prohibition against selling “loosies” or single cigarettes at a time), Mr. Garner would have just been doing a little “street capitalism”. No different, really than most other street vendors. Some of which have licenses to do so, others of whom do not.

But foolish or not, enforcing the prohibition was part of the law, and if you don’t like the consequences of the law, change it.

the tax doesn't justify Garner's actions

And collecting it doesn't justify Garner's death.

Giuliani was an outstanding Federal prosecutor as well as having skillfully managed the city in the days after 9/11.Warren Wilhelm hasn’t even demonstrated an ability to manage a one car funeral.

Rudy Giuliani understands the reality of race much more thoroughly that this twit ever will.
