As I noted last week, Lena Dunham’s memoir describes her having sex with someone named Barry, whom she labels as Oberlin’s “resident conservative.” Her description seems to leave it somewhat ambiguous as to whether Barry raped her, but it does describe some sexual behavior by Barry that at the very least reflects badly on him; readers have certainly viewed it as rape, and Dunham has elsewhere characterized it as rape. There are two passages in which she describes the incident: one in which it comes across as consensual but unsatisfying, and another one that she begins by saying,

The goal isn’t to attack and tarnish Barry. Rather it’s to find something specific and identifiable that could be a revenge (dish best served cold, right?) motivator for Dunham.

In her book she details the sexual abuse of her younger sister. I don’t think that there is a statute of limitations on this issue. I don’t know whether Human Services or the police have been called about this.
Now this is an issue whether her sister cooperates or not, there is enough evidence out in the world via the book and their statements. this is about protecting OTHER children.
I think that if Dunham is branded a sexual predator as she should be, and a sex offender it would be truthful and protecting any young that come within her range.

Also, why isn’t in possible that she raped barry? I mean considering what if have heard regarding her sister that seems the more possible scenario.
