Jonathan Gruber, the man at the center of Obamacare’s troubled public image, apologized to Congress for “glib” and “thoughtless” comments about the stupidity of the American voters and how the health overhaul passed, arguing he is no political expert and shouldn’t have posed as one in speeches around the country.
“It’s never appropriate to try to make oneself seem more important or smarter by demeaning others. I knew better. I know better. I’m embarrassed, and I’m sorry,” Mr. Gruber, an economics professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, told the House oversight committee chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican.

Earlier I pointed out that commenting on the testimony about the money paid to Gruber and MIT for the modeling and consulting, Rudy Guliani said that he (Gruber) had testified to committing fraud while under oath.
How did he commit fraud?
It would certainly have to be a career low to be called stupid by the likes of Elijah Cummings.
I’d venture to guess, the administration wrote that “apology”.
His apology is accepted if he has his assets seized and he is imprisoned. The arrogant loser is a criminal.
Cummings is mad because he FINALLY figured out that the “stupid” people the legislation was designed to fool ... was HIM and the other Democrats! (remember not a SINGLE republican fell for this scam)
But the BEST part is... he’s too STILL too stupid to realize what a piece of crap Obamacare is!

There are two fundamental ways to lie, and a half dozen additional variants. Gruber used them all, and might have invented a few new ones.
Gruber can't deny that he is key to perpetrating perhaps the largest financial fraud ever in U.S. history, by private criminals and government ones. Before the fraud has run its course and have a wooden stake driven through it, he would have enabled tens of trillions$ to disappear.
That he was simply a "consultant" to government does not invalidate his crime or erase the damage. The American taxpayer must be made whole.
Do the RICO statutes truly exempt government, its employees and "consultants" from its punishment provisions?
Who speaks for us, our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will, one way or another, be paying the monumental cost of the fraud until the 22nd Century?
Will all the players in this crime (Including members of Congress and the Senate, they know who they are) truly get away scot free? No Jail time? No Fines? No forfeiture of ill-gained "bonuses" and golden retirement parachutes paid for by the American taxpayer?
Really?
One bullet to the head should suffice.

Even the mentally-challenged GOP leadership should be able to see that the statement is a lie, on its face, no argument, and charge him with perjury, with a punishment equal to the damage he caused. Same for his co-conspirators.
Unless he means to claim, "the landmark [in criminal annals] achievement was debated thoroughly and transparently" among the co-conspirators exclusively among themselves. The American Public is too stupid to unravel expert parsing of plain English!

I’m starting to feel sorry for Gruber... If liberal elites could see how we experience them they would collapse in shame. Gruber’s starting to see how we see liberal elites.
Apologizing for his comment is just a diversion.
It's like if a bank robber bragged to his friend that he robbed a bank and then he apologizes to the bank for bragging to his friend.
Apparently one isn’t allowed to tell the truth anymore.
