Grubers cheeks seemed to be very tight on that display..

Trey Gowdy did his typical fine job of walking the witness into a corner. The best line however cam from ISSA when he asked if anybody in his audience came up and told him that what he said was innapropriate, his answer was “Not that I recall”, the ISSA quipped “I bet they were [Gruber’s Statements] were popular in that community.

Note to Trey: Keep razor and shaving cream in your office.

It would scare us all to know what “passes for academia” these days. It would behoove anyone in the position to hire a graduate of even an “Ivy League” school to not take the degree, no matter how high or advanced, at face value. Careful examination of the courses, grades, and extracurricular student activity of a prospect is required.
OH, my bad, we elected a POTUS without really knowing any sort of the above credentials. He was a Black Man and that was enough.
Please don’t make the mistake when nominating a woman just because she is a woman. We really cannot afford to make a big mistake again.

That would be sweet but the a-hole Holder would just get up and walk out - unless he was in chains.

Trey needs 30-60 minutes and should dive into the manifestation of the statements w/r to aspects of the law. That is if we were serious about this effort. 30 - 60 minutes with Trey and Mr. Gruber would be suitably set for perjury, stiff sentencing and singing like a canary.

Love Gowdy, but Gruber should not be the target here. The targets are Obama, Reid, and Pelosi. What conversations did Gruber have with those politicians and their staff? Were the political calculations that Gruber talked about actually directions from the Democrate leadership?

Did Boehner outlaw this line of questioning?

Also, it is likely that Gruber committed fraud in his invoices to various states for consulting abut Obamacare. Put some heat on the MIT-weasel and see if he spills the beans on the whole fraud of Obamacare (and RomneyCare, too!)

The question not asked: who from the administration called you and asked you to come before congress and clarify your remarks?

Gruber essentially says that “stupidity of the American voter” and “deliberate lack of transparency” were gaffes, except that they weren’t. A gaffe is something you say once, like “macaca”, not something you say over and over at a half-dozen different conferences.

Gowdy repeatedly asked Gruber “what did you mean” when you called the public stupid? and Gruber keeps answering “I was trying to be glib and make myself look smart,” but Gowdy not letting him off the hook.
