Sherman, I started my media criticism about 12 years ago, doing vanity posts here at Free Republic. My focus was the Today show, back in the bad old Katie Couric days.
When NewsBusters was created, I was invited to start blogging there, and have been doing so for 9+ years. Honoring my original Free Republic roots, I always cross-post my items here.
I always post an excerpt rather than the full article. I believe that most linked articles at FR are posted that way.
And I make no bones about the fact that I’m trying to encourage hits at NB. It costs money to continue our mission there of exposing and combating liberal media bias, and generating hits is a necessary part of keeping ourselves online.
So if you see something here that interests you, hope you will consider reading “the rest of the story” over at NewsBusters.

It’s not just a Texas accent. I spent 22 years in the military, traveled all over, and constantly had to fight the idea that I must be stupid because I said y’all. I moved up the ranks pretty quickly and it pleased me to rub my “suthin accent” in every chance I got.

I'm pulling for Cruz as well. But if Perry persists then there's going to be a war between the two. Who will emerge standing at the end?

I see Perry as the ONLY candidate that is acceptable to both conservatives AND the GOP-e. He’s not my favorite, but I would have no problem voting for Perry.
A good leader and would make a good POTUS. But he doesn’t do well in debates.
Did he come up with that joke, or did he plagiarize it from someone funnier?
Perhaps the POS propagandist could ask some tough questions of the “stupid Americans” in CONgre$$ who voted for ACA.
