Ebola cases require rare dual air ambulance rescues

There has been an apparent first in the fight against Ebola this week.

According to flight records, the private jet company contracted by the State Department to transport Ebola patients flew two air ambulances to West Africa on the same day.

Until Wednesday, Phoenix Air had flown only one Ebola-fighting mission at a time. A second Gulfstream jet featuring the ability to treat infectious patients in flight had been held back in case of an emergency with the first aircraft. But last month, the Georgia-based operation finished customizing a third jet to handle the specialized medical equipment.

And just where would Liberia or Sierra Leone get funding for one of those fancy dual air ambulances? Yes, most likely though indirectly, it would come from American dollars with you know who’s blessing. Still, until they update their drinking water and sewage systems and learn what Universal Precautions are, nothing is really going to change.

Why has the Ebola issue completely dropped off the cliff? Obama’s Ebola czar never made an appearance and his now leaving his throne in March. What has he done? Get the Ebola news out of the media? If so, his job is done.

Right after the new tsar took over, AP stopped reporting "suspected" cases which were not confirmed. Similarly, the information on people under observation dried up like a west Texas pond in August. I think he may have had some influence there.
