Any reports from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about Democrats meeting with Soros, Buffett or Steyer? Was the term ‘mega-donor’ used anywhere in the article?

For media like the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, there is always right-wing and reactionaries but seldom to never are there left-wing or radicals. Strange that, but then again they are ‘journalists’ and thus they are taught!

So, Sheldon Adelson spent $20 million trying to buy Newt Gingrich the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, and then another $30 million to try to buy Mitt Romney the presidency when he was nominated instead of Newt, yet both of his candidates lost.

So why would any of the prospective Republican presidential candidates want to be Sheldon Adelson’s 2016 versions of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney?

And why would Sheldon Adelson want to throw another $50 million down the drain? What more could Washington give him and his fellow Wall Street and Corporate fatcats that it hasn’t already lavished upon them?

Well, there might be a few things. If the Scott Walkers and Chris Christies want to win Sheldon Adelson’s heart maybe they can promise to legalize more forms of betting, or allow betting parlors to be established all across America, or make campaign donations, no matter how high into the tens of millions, tax deductible. I’m sure with all their years of experience shaking down political contributors, the prospective Republican 2016 candidates should have no trouble coming up with good ideas.
