It's not something you see every day, a horse in a wedding dress standing outside the federal courthouse.
"I thought it was laughable and I believe he was going for a ridiculous protest and he certainly got one," says Eddie Outlaw, LGBT advocate.
Reverend Edward James of Bertha Chapel Missionary Baptist Church dressed his horse, Charlotte, in a makeshift wedding dress to protest same-sex marriage.
"The horse is to show the ridiculous idea of two men getting married," says James.
James says after a federal decision was made in November to lift the ban on same-sex marriage in the state, he is hoping Judge Carlton Reeves will change his mind.
"I'm a Mississippian and I'm praying and hoping that we will remain a state that only recognizes marriage between a man and a woman," says James.
"The argument is not about sin or religious belief or what the church says about marriage equality. It is strictly about benefits, rights, protection extended by government not by the church," says Outlaw....

Outlaw. LOL!
You’d think you’re reading a John Bunyan allegory.
Hilarious, but most will either ignore him or pretend to ‘feel threatened by his hate’. I don’t know if we can ever reverse this new definition of marriage. We may need to devise a brand new legal term which only means a wedded link between one man and one woman.
Local Muslims were seen carefully examining the horse to make sure it was a mare.
I think pedophilia will be the next “right” before bestiality! But that’s on the agenda too!
And Outlaw says to Fagmuch......
About as laughable as the claim that two men playing in each other's poop is the same thing as marriage.
He’s BLACK!! LOL
Not polygamy?
A black guy has a horse?
Seriously.
Good for him.
LOL!
what a way to make a salient point.
“The argument is not about sin or religious belief or what the church says “................” says Outlaw.
He’s wrong on that one.

“I think the good reverend should probably focus on what he can do to minister to the needs of the LGBT community and ..............” says Outlaw.
He is ministering to their most important needs. He’s telling them the truth.
I think bestiality remains legal in about 13 or so states, probably never thought to outlaw it
Most of the faggot bars here in W Hollywood have horse statues at the front.
Good for him. I love that he is a black pastor, too.
someone will likely dig up an obscure and forgotten law from 1876 that bans putting clothing on a horse and arrest the pastor
I’m sure the clientele checks carefully to make sure it’s a stallion.
A man who thinks he can “marry” another man, who’s sex life consists of putting his thing in a mans poop chute....has the nerve to tell others what is gross?
