Good for you, but you need to realize not all situations are the same.
At least the 911 call should be on tape, for later.
Smart ..... life saved overrides contempt of cop in my book as well.
I disagree. The triage nurse was the one who screwed up in your example.
The myth that you get admitted sooner coming by ambulance over walking in is just that, a myth.
I have been on quite a few calls where this was explained to the patient before transport and they ended up getting a $900 taxi ride in an ambulance only to be sent out to the waiting room.
Thank god the cop survived to shoot a dog on another day.
You know, this is a good point. Had they arrived not in an ambulance, they’d have likely let him die in the waiting room. We hear stories about that plenty.
the first mistake that was made was driving him at all. you call 911 and go by ambulance.
In this case, its all about authority and power over the individual.
This Free Thought Project, so-called, is a bunch of fecal matter.
Usually they even lie and leave out info.
Oh obviously he could breathe! He was talking. He was just faking. All the “experts” said Eric Garner could breathe ‘cause he was talking.
What doesn’t this shithead take him to the hospital!
Frickin’ telling the woman that she’s not helping!
Get a clue...
Way too expensive and way too slow if one only lives a couple of miles from the Hospital.
THAT IS an issue....
Exactly.
There you are. Settle it later except in the age the cop would probably shoot at your car.
Red lights and a siren is just a way to ASK for permission to go through a light. We still must pretty much come to a stop before proceeding and after driving for many years, I don’t even blow green lights at posted speed +10 as we are allowed.
I blow red lights every day I work. The red lights and siren just warn people, it does not stop them in any fashion. Most of the time, they just scatter like chickens. Some pull right, some left, some just stop, some ignore.
Red lights can be blown safely just like I do every shift, come to the light, no one in cross traffic proceed.
That’s the law in Florida now, too. If you can’t shift lanes, you are supposed to slow down to 20 mph under the speed limit.
They don’t have a triage nurse if you drive in, or at least not in the South, where I live. They have some women with long fingernails and lots of extensions sitting behind the desk watching the soaps and asking if the patient you have brought in can stand up.
Believe me, going into the emergency room in an ambulance is the only way to go.
