I’d rather vote for the Green Party then another Rhino.
Trump is NOT liberal on military, foreign trade with China, and fiscal issues. He is liberal mainly on social issues.
The GOPe backed McCain, knowing he would lose.
The GOP backed Romney, knowing he would lose.
The GOP will back another super RINO, knowing he will lose.
But look who WON because we lost?
The Chamber of Commerce
Big banks
American based multinational corporations
They want amnesty, and Obamacare, so they can shift all of the costs on the American taxpayer, while they reap all the profits.
Nice(deadly) game, if you have the money to play......Heads they win, tails they win.
Boehner & McConnell just sold America to the above-mentioned highest bidders.
I am deferring judging the GOP congress until after January. With WHite House and Senate under democrat control, GOP had ZERO power to actually pass any bills.
Santorum and Romney backed Romney by dividing votes till the bitter end. Until Romney became inevitable, he could’nt cross 30%.
Good point.
There is only so much money. And a lot of possible candidates. The race is on!
Time for all us Conservatives to put an end to this long list of loser RINOs. The GOPe keeps telling us in order to win we most run candidates who are just as Leftist as the Socialists. RINOs can’t win because their is no difference between them and the Socialists!
" `Cause I'm having a hard time telling them apart, in general. What have the Republicans done on Fast & Furious; Benghazi; Obamacare; the NSA's domestic espionage; the IRS's political targeting that has been at all effective? And before you contend that they were doing what they could, consider that the Republicans controlled the House of Representatives, and therefore could have refused to fund these."
Exactly. That "any Repub is better than a Dem" still worked a few years ago, but no more.
Republicans support the Democratic agenda and actively work to establish it; as long as THEY do it, they think it's just fine. The spending bill debacle has proven once & for all that they will always--ALWAYS--lie to conservatives to get their votes. The only difference with Bush is that he's promising big money donors he won't even bother to do that.
Jeb Bush supports the destruction of this country via amnesty. How and why is that any different from the destruction wrought by the Democrats? I'll never cast a vote for a candidate who supports amnesty.
Good God, when will conservatives wake up?
Exactly!
” Jeb Bush supports the destruction of this country via amnesty. How and why is that any different from the destruction wrought by the Democrats? I’ll never cast a vote for a candidate who supports amnesty.”
Perfect test of patriotism....or treason, in the case of Jeb.
This faux opposition crap has gotten really old.
The monstrosity they passed the other day proves to me that voting no longer matters. Not gonna get fired up about their crap anymore.
Treason is exactly what it is.
Yep, to the point of being ridiculous now.
“And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush upon you. The burden of self-deception has grown too heavy, and some minor incident...collapses it all at once, and you see that everything, everything has changed and changed completely under your nose.
“The world you live in - your nation, your people - is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed.
“Now you life in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed.
“And this is how it happens. The form is embraced rather than the spirit. The past is worshiped along with the idea, and people and reality become casualties in the process.” - Milton Mayer - ‘They Thought They Were Free, The Germans 1933-1945’.
I’ll give it to Hillary before I’ll help another Bush...
Excellent!
the IRS’s political targeting that has been at all effective?
_____
Supposedly cut IRS’s enforcement budget over the last two years by 500 million dollars. I keep checking if this is an actual cut or simply smoke and mirrors.
The articles I have read say it is a cut, but I am dubious.
