Ahh, just what I had thought. ObamaCare is just a tax sham...

Finally. James O'Keefe interviews the gentleman that exposed Gruber and happens upon the true reason for ObamaCare.

I've been thinking this for over a year. ObamaCare is nothing more than turning back the the provision of healthcare coverage paid for by employers that was brought about by FDR's wage & price controls implemented in the 1940s.

There you have it. It's just about the money coming out of your pocket.

true reasons for ObamaCare:
a) so dems can scare voters by claiming mean republicans will take away your healthcare
b) so dems can unionize all health care workers

A tax law the president can change at will, anytime he pleases without consent of Congress.

If that was what Obamacare was doing I would applaud it. Having employers pay for employees healthcare via health insurance plans has been one of the principal causes of the steady rise in healthcare costs. That and forcing hospitals to provide services to people who can’t afford the services.

This is another case of bad govt policy.

Tying healthcare to employment separated the user from the payer which allowed prices to skyrocket.

It makes no more sense for your employer to pay your health insurance than it does your car insurance.

The true reason for Obama care....Total control of your life.

Nearly every activity can be stated as affecting your health so regulating health-care allows the provider (tyrants) to regulate your entire life. In the end the populace is enslaved and the tyrants empowered.

But what an inhumane way to do it.

I said pretty much the same thing over a year ago: LINK

"Under Odramacare, working people like you and me will see much higher premiums on average, so that the formerly un-insured now have policies that WE pay for (the poor get “subsidies”). This means the Feds are taking what was a direct expense, funded through tax-receipts, and shifting it via the ACA mandates to the insurance companies (who get increased revenue through increased premiums).

So again the middle class and working class get the O-shaft - as our expenses will go up (premiums), but there will be no decrease in the tax-rates that one might expect, being as the expenses they would have normally incurred will be gone.

Classic un-funded mandate; making industry act as the tax-collectors for bloated governments and welfare state."

I read, today, that Obama has not written the order to the IRS to fine anyone for not buying ObamaCare. The fine was delayed, but no date was ever set to start it up.

That and forcing hospitals to provide services to people who can’t afford the services.

Can't disagree, but doesn't that statement indicate a support for the so-called death panels (withholding care for financial efficacy)?

Playing devil's advocate to see how perspective affects opinions...

I think the difference is that the death panels prevent you from receiving care even if you can afford it.
