Wait, North Korea went Muslim?
Maybe we the theaters can sell some term-life insurance for the duration of the film while you are there;) Now can we send those we disagree on a ticket gifted with insurance payout to FR!
Lol!
Pussies.
Because this despot shows muscle and this bunch is afraid of those that push back.
“Even though that would guarantee his demise.”
Men with stones like Harry Truman are long gone, so these days I’m not so sure. Obama would want to understand the root causes of their anger, and maybe have a beer summit!/s
I hope AMC doesn’t. I want to see this movie big time. Without controversy I probably would have waited til DVD or cheep theater. Now I would even pay full price.
I never saw or heard of this movie. Which one was it? Was this before or after the Drug Program boondoggle or picking Harriet Meyers? Both of which I understand the desire for assassination.
Nobody’s demise is guaranteed w/O at the helm; literally nobody.
Khalid Sheik Mohammad had it right. The Liberals will give up because they are cowards.
Maybe we ought to tell Kim Jung-Un if he blows up our movie theaters we will turn his miserable stinking little country into a sea of glass. But then, that would take some guts and we are being run by Liberals.
Therefore, we are quaking in our boots and p!ssing our pants and we should expect more of his bullying and more of our acquiescence...
No theater in the US will be showing this film or everybody will stay home on Christmas and every day because of fears for personal safety. Don’t call the American public wussies or worse. They’re understandably cautious.
Seems like a lot of theaters are self censoring American Sniper too
Pussies...
Was the editor at the Daily Mail smoking crack when he let this piece go to publication? I’m not one of these people who nit-picks at incorrect spelling, punctuation and grammar etc. But, apparently whoever wrote this article does not know when to end one sentence with a “period” and begin the new sentence with capital letter. Not only makes for difficult reading, but, makes one think that the people at the Daily Mail need to go back to 3rd Grade Language Arts class.
They've set the precedent of rewarding terrorists.
Who? Sony or Obama?
Death of a President was screened in the U.S. for 14 days, showing at 143 theaters at its widest release. Worldwide it earned less than a million dollars. Comparing it to a big budget film with 2 A-listers is silly. More theaters will end up showing it in one typical state than showed DOAP worldwide, even with cancellations.
Land of the free and home of the brave? Really?
So, when ISIS threatens the same for any movie that doesn’t comport with their demands, a similar response will follow?
Cowards
Kim don't like being made fun of.
North Koreans threaten hair salon...
A hair salon in London had this in the window and some angry Norks from the embassy came in and threatened him.
I cannot wait for the DVD. I hopes it is 3D so we can see body parts flying off the screen when they blow him up.
