What was Ted Cruz like at Harvard Law?
Quora ^ | 12/9/2014 | Various

By most accounts, he was an incredibly arrogant ####, among other unflattering adjectives.

When his former classmates at Princeton and Harvard were interviewed, certain words kept repeating. One was a nice thing -- that he's very smart. The others, not so much...

I first met Ted when he was one of 8 hopeful candidates traveling around Texas /Feb 2011.
He stood far above the others but he never came across as arrogant. These 8 spent a ton of time together as they went to any place they could get people to gather.
and they debated and discussed the issues over and over and over.
It takes a lot to run for office. Once Ted came in second in the primary, second only to the well known and well heeled LT Gov. the other 7 supported Cruz and some worked on his campaign. None of them found him arrogant and I would think you’d get to know someone pretty well in the months of travelling and debating.
No doubt he has n incredible mind . That is not being arrogant.

Stop using Wiki - it is a useless liberal propaganda site (for anything political)

An arrogant law student at HLS? What is the world coming to?

Yep, and I'll still take Ted Cruz over crying John Boehner, Mitch McConnell or the completely vacuous Obama any day.

At least he has classmates that remember him.

Beat me to it. Bet he wasn't whining to get finals delayed and hasn't spent millions of tax dollars to get his college records secreted away.

Here we go. The liberal personal destruction crew is already in action. Mitt Romney cut some kid's hair 53 years ago - horror! George Bush had a DUI 30 years ago in college!

Same crap, same slimy process, same degenerates starting the dark whisper campaign to destroy Cruz’ character. Watch for the escalation of this against Cruz. The Left truly fears Cruz and they are laying the groundwork to derail him.

Understood and I try to avoid. I mentioned it because it was the first thing that pooped up (I mean, pooped).

Other more credible cites didn’t stand out.

Frankly, I didn’t need verification. I know “lib-porn” when I see.

I'm not saying he was never there. He might have even reported to his sponsor or professor on a regular basis to get instructions. Who knows?

I just think it is mighty strange that nobody remembers. I can go through my high school yearbook (enrollment of roughly 750 people) and, if I can't tell you at least something about every picture in there, I can at least say I remember the face or the crowd that person hung around with (jocks, nerds, nobodies, etc.). The book is dated 1973 and I'm no social butterfly. If anything, I would probably be about halfway down the "introvert" spectrum.

Did they also ask what political party these ‘critics’ are now affiliated with?

Ah, but in the world of Liberal La-La Land it is. Deviating from the assigned groupthink is arrogant.

I met Ted this summer at a county women’s republican event. He was AMAZING as a speaker and a man. After the event, a Friday night which I know he wanted some family time, he said he would wait until everyone got a picture with him that wanted one! My husband’s ‘BS meter’ was on but he said he is the real thing! So PROUD to have him as our Senator. Anyway, my husband quoted a Psalm verse to him....and he smiled and quoted a few more of the verses around it!!! The ladies said they wish his dad had come as he is someone they didn’t want to let go home they LOVED him so much!

I am PRAYING for his successful run in 2016 and that we rock this ship back into the sane waters!!

Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy[33] from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1992.[6][5] While at Princeton, he competed for the American Whig-Cliosophic Society’s Debate Panel and won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship.[34] In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year and Team of the Year (with his debate partner, David Panton).[34] Cruz was also a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princeton’s highest-ranked debater at the championship.[35][36] Princeton’s debate team later named their annual novice championship after Cruz.[35]

Cruz’s senior thesis on the separation of powers, titled “Clipping the Wings of Angels,” draws its inspiration from a passage attributed to President James Madison: “If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.” Cruz argued that the drafters of the Constitution intended to protect the rights of their constituents, and the last two items in the Bill of Rights offered an explicit stop against an all-powerful state. Cruz wrote: “They simply do so from different directions. The Tenth stops new powers, and the Ninth fortifies all other rights, or non-powers.”[31][37]

After graduating from Princeton, Cruz attended Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.[6][38] While at Harvard Law, Cruz was a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review.[5] Referring to Cruz’s time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, “Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant.”[18] At Harvard Law, Cruz was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics.[39]

” I’ll settle for one professor from Occidental”

You won’t get it.

Not one student from Columbia either......which is, of course IMPOSSIBLE.
