The bottom line is that President Obama and Democrats got the confirmations they wanted — just as they planned and intended, regardless of anything Ted Cruz did. As he made clear before it all began, Harry Reid was going to make full use of his last chance to confirm his party's nominees. It would have made no sense for him to do otherwise.

Bingo!! The republican liberals with the help of Manu Raju (sp??) at politico has been propagating lies that Cruz helped to get the nominees confirmed.

The Senator is far too fond of symbolic actions for his own (or our) good, but he also tends to be lied about quite a lot. Some faction or another seems quite invested in making him come off as a dangerous loon. That said, strategy does not seem to be his thing, speaking is though. He scares the pants off somebody.

” In fact, the session ended Tuesday night with senators confirming 34 nominees by unanimous consent. Rather than rush out of town before voting, senators of both parties rushed the voting so they could get out of town.”

Don’t let your senator tell you he opposed any of them. They voted for all 34.

Lou Dobbs had a disgusting rant on Cruz tonight. Declared his show as being a “Cruz free zone” I was appalled and won’t be watching him again.

Getting cornyn on record as having voted for obamas American destruction is not symbolic. It’s taking names

Hand wringing is going out of style

Imus and Bernie love to look forward to saying that Cruz is creepy. That propaganda will backfire as people realize they are at least as creepy, if they believe the rhetoric

Cruz defends the constitution. If he can articulate that theme he walks in and fixes this mess
Cruz

I will tune into a show if Cruz is on. There are plenty of Cruz fans who will just go watch shows that have him on. Dobbs will just not get those viewers.

Another example of why it’s so hard for a conservative to be effective in Washington.

They are constantly attacked from both sides of the aisle.

Seems that both parties have merged today. The time is coming when several million marching on Washington might change things but still not enough anger among the knowledgeable - “yet”.

I agree. Which is why I do not think Cruz will be the nominee. Conservatives may love Cruz...but the power brokers do NOT love Cruz.

I also think Senator Cruz is going to need more time to win over the American public ... as the MSM is not going to portray Cruz in a positive light. Cruz will have to find some way of getting his message out ... beyond the FNS audience.

Cruz is out to fix this mess.

How does one fix a mess that is based on disregarding basic principles?

Go back to basic principles.

If it can’t be fixed by that, then what the heck, it’s a permanent mess.

I watched eric Bolling wax poetic about how wonderful it is to embrace the communists in Cuba, that Raoul Castro is not Whatsizname

There’s money to be made.

Chamber of Commerce thinking is allowing Obama to barrel through.

Lou dobbs is likely part of this.

And imus, every moment he can he screeches about how creepy ted cruz is. Based on what? the rantings of a creep?

At least Cruz came out and said that the gOP cannot be overcome by a plethora of conservatives, that conservatives would have to get behind one candidate.

A conservative primary of sorts will have to occur.

At leas Ted Cruz knows it.

Jeb Bush Bah.

is that what lou doobbs is looking for?

In ten years kids coming out of school wont even be thinking of having kids.

I know kids 24 years old with $600 per month payments for stupid colleges, Texas tech, nothing to brag about, and lousy jobs, or trying to start a family.

What the heck do these money people think??
