Checkmate: Is Russia Selling Oil For Gold?
SilverDoctors ^ | December 19, 2014

Posted on 12/19/2014 10:05:33 AM PST by Strategy

Very few people understand what Putin is doing at the moment. And almost no one understands what he will do in the future.

No matter how strange it may seem, but right now, Putin is selling Russian oil and gas ONLY for physical gold.

How long will the West be able to buy oil and gas from Russia in exchange for physical gold?

And what will happen to the US petrodollar after the West runs out of physical gold to pay for Russian oil, gas and uranium, as well as to pay for Chinese goods?

Russians are sheep, and have always been sheep, that is why we never really need to discuss the Russian people, just whoever is currently in charge of them.

But what good is gold if there is no money to buy it in the end? So he gets all the gold, silver, whatever, aside from jewelry and fillings, what else is it good for?

Tinfoil, from the hats people who take that seriously have been wearing for years on end.

The difference between the USA and Russia is that the Russian people are not panzies. They know hardship and deal with it

It confuses me when people make these assertions. They are "hardy" in the same way a beat dog shivering out in the cold is hardy. From another post I made responding to this:

The Russkie mindset is somewhere between the Goblin and the Orc. Most are low IQ or deranged from drugs and alcohol abuse and are dependent on government subsidies for their existence. Here is a good article from a noble Russian who fled his country discussing this:

"The population at large is, statistically speaking, not very bright. Many are deranged from overuse of alcohol or drugs. A big number are simply aging elderly rooted in USSR-centric mindset who never adjusted to the modern world. Most of them do not “work” in the sense we understand full-time employment here: they occupy placeholder positions sponsored by the government. Being dependent their whole life on government help, they are psychologically unable even to think government can do something wrong."

This is what happens after 5 generations of Communism where the best and brightest and most moral are systematically murdered and replaced with sadists and others with clear signs of mental illness to positions of authority.

Russian society is by and large predatory and corrupt. Criminality is normal in Russia amongst every social class. They only seem "tough" because they are used to living as slaves in very pitiful conditions. To this day, in their little apartment complexes, they're still crapping in hallways or beneath stairwells. They make the filth of India look normal by comparison. Here's another thread that also delves into the scary world of Russian society:

If the Russkies are tough and noble in any way, then our Welfare parasites must at least be growing up to be strong men. Add Communist repression in the USA and they'll become true Russians.

Like Americans are not sheep either.

Or, Europeans for that matter. Need a better argument.

Can’t underestimate these Russians. That is a mistake.

No, Americans are not known for being sheep, like the Russians have always been.

Russia is rightfully known for being a nation of weak peasants, who have bosses assigned over them, they even fight that way, the individual means nothing, they just go where they are told and hope they have enough tonnage of human flesh, to win.

$4.5 Billion, not a bad little bank account. You think he could back the ruble with his gold to stop a freefall?

Right, and the sheep elected Obama thinking he was an angel. Obama’s human rights record is one of the worst of all the presidents and yet the American sheep voted for them. Over half of Americans get government checks and would be lost without them. Those check recipients qualify as sheep in my book.

So electing the democrat in 2008 and 2012 changes everything for what America is and what what Russia is.

If you don’t want anyone to discuss Russia, why didn’t you just say so rather than try to turn this into yet another thread on the 2012 election?

Slide Brazil onto that list also. They too bet way too hard on perpetual oil income. The Soddies are the queens of pizzing away opportunity however. For half a century they used the oil income to party with and support trouble makers. They, along with the Ruskies, et al, just couldn’t bring themselves to spend a dime on economic development, education, or anything else that would have a long term benefit for their peoples. It’s hard to work up any kind of sympathy for this cadre of jerkopfz.

I went and looked at a UN development program PDF file. There was a chart in it. The chart showed that India, Brazil and ChiComs are expected to have the most growth, as the Western nations drop off swiftly. In both directions, it was steep, up and down.

No, even on our worst day, we are nowhere near the level of degeneracy as is seen in Russia. Read the links and see for yourself.

IT wouldn’t surprise me. The dollar has become so degraded over the past decade that it’s what I’d do if I were the President of Russia.

What happens when the US cannot afford Chinese goods? Does China crumble? If China crumbles and the West cannot afford to buy Russian oil and China cannot afford Russian oil, does Russia crumble? Maybe we are all swirling around a big sewer pipe.

I’m with the others. The russian people are clearly lacking stones below. That is why they deal with hardship. Not because they are tough, but because they are unwilling to stand up to their dictators.
Hard John Wayne people are tough, in their own way and with certain limitations that tend to get ignored. But someone just enduring because they ‘have to’ is not tough. That is called a sheep.
