TAMPA BAY, Florida - A police officer was shot and killed in Tarpon Springs, a coastal town a few miles northwest of Tampa Bay.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and the Tarpon Springs Police Department are investigating, reports CBS affiliate WTSP in Tampa.
The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. on December 21, on Grand Boulevard in Tarpon Springs. The suspect in the shooting is in custody.
Police were originally called out for a noise ordinance complaint as the suspect was banging on residential doors, WTSP reports.
When police arrived the suspect shot one of the officers and then attempted to flee in a vehicle.

If you listen to a police scanner you will realize that 80% of the work load generated is done so by the same bunch upset that the police enforce laws when they arrive on the scene! It's an absolute display of ignorance.
Now on top of that, 50% of the calls over the dispatch are for domestic arguments, people in the same household stealing from each other, intoxicated callers upset over something, anything, so they call the cops. People angry about a neighbor, cousin, nephew, or even how a car is parked. Then when the police respond as dispatched and encounter criminal conduct, the citizen caller and hangabouts on the scene are outraged at the social injustice of the police enforcing the law? What the hell?

often the cake is baked by two years of age.
Yes, but the cake might be able to turn into a baker and bake their own self. Ive done it and its a singular process that requires a HUGE amount of self responsibility.Yes, I know.
Imagine you thinking that I didn't. You must REALLY think that I am a numbnut. And good for you for turning your life around. You are blessed.
A BLESSED and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

The itching is over. After Officers Liu and Ramos, the war is on. And we know which side our “commander-in-chief” and his race consigliere are on.

I can’t understand why he was a “reverend” before his stated support.

I did think you were a judgmental jerk. I dislike how people are taught to think that at age two, or earlier, that you are either saved or last, like the concept of predestination with no chance to be saved or save yourself.
Yet, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
