At Demonstrations, a Change in Tone After Officers Are Killed
New York Times ^ | 21 Dec 14 | LIZ ROBBINS and NIKITA STEWART

For weeks after a Staten Island grand jury declined to indict a white police officer in the chokehold death of a black man, civil rights rallies in New York City had gathered momentum and spurred dialogue among activists and city officials.

But the conversation, in one shocking instant on Saturday, took an unexpected turn.

One day after two police officers were fatally shot at point-blank range as they sat in their squad car in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, leaders of several groups who had been rallying for criminal justice reform scrambled to condemn the killings while still keeping the push for police reform alive.

Justice League NYC, an organization that had met with Mayor Bill de Blasio on Friday, held a march as planned on Sunday night. But after the killings, the route was redirected to end at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem for a service of healing to remember all victims of violence — including police officers. “An act of violence is against humanity,” Carmen Perez, a co-founder of Justice League NYC, said in a telephone interview. The group is an organization of criminal justice advocates that has planned several of the recent protests. “It’s not mutually exclusive. We can mourn Eric Garner and the two officers. It’s O.K. to do that.”

On Sunday, it was too early to predict how the killings would affect future protests. But that night, the march in Harlem, attended by more than 200, was subdued.

Instead of chanting Mr. Garner’s last words, “I can’t breathe,” participants held candles as they walked and sang the children’s gospel song “This Little Light of Mine.”

Those ugly fools have blood on their hands.
Sharpton is no stranger to bloodshed. I think he revels in it.

What is even MORE frightening, Al Sharpton is the Obama Point-man and has visited the White House many times to “Stay the Course” in the matters of Ferguson and Garner.

Change in tone my ass.

Video in the news this morning shows protesters in St Louis chanting “Pigs in a blanket”, a direct reference to the NY cop killer.

The "professional agitators" (Sharpscum, etc) need to be arrested for making terroristic threats and as accomplices to two murders.

Yes, of course, having it both ways now.

the truth cannot be surpressed

The truth IS being surpressed. Useful idiots in the media and in "leadership" that doesn't want to offend the black thug culture and the unwillingness of decent blacks to speak out and take control of restoring law in their neighborhoods are the enablers. Those promoting the mayham which is emboldening the worst of the black population are outside agitators, misled liberals from the elite and the suburbs who know everything (just ask them), and compromised leadership from the president on down. The truth is this is an initiative to bring the rest of the US population to acceptance of a level of lawlessness that allows control and manipulation of everyone and everything.

What's happening? This is my (call it crazy, whatever) conspiracy theory. The elite in corporate American and puppetmasters both in and outside of government have given up on the majority of blacks as a useful population. They're being replaced by hispanics, and the mayham and manipulation are bringing down freedoms and opportunity for everyone else.

What that chart shows is basically what Dr. Charles Murray and Richard Herrnstein wrote about 20 years ago in The Bell Curve.

Their findings are summed up in that link (written in 1994):

1.Intelligence exists and is accurately measurable across racial, language, and national boundaries.

2.Intelligence is one of, if not the most, important factors correlated to economic, social, and overall success in the United States, and its importance is increasing.

3.Intelligence is largely (40% to 80%) heritable.

4.No one has so far been able to manipulate IQ to a significant degree through changes in environmental factors—except for child adoption—and in the light of these failures, future successful manipulations are unlikely.

5.The United States has been in denial of these facts. A better public understanding of the nature of intelligence and its social correlates is necessary to guide future policy decisions.

Note that #5 was never followed, but was ridiculed and deemed "racist" by academia and the media.

The average IQ of US whites is about 100, and the average intelligence of US blacks is about 80 - an entire standard deviation below.

Equatorial African blacks have an average IQ of less than 70. Jews and Asians have average IQs exceeding 100, and keep in mind these are averages (meaning there are significant populations above these scores, as well as scores below).

So in our "Conversation about race" that Obama and Holder want to have, this, of course, is not allowed to be discussed.

It is tried and proven that the wealth of a nation is directly tied to the national IQ.

Therefore, since government, liberals, "activists", the media, and academia preach about "equality" and "opportunity" - we must realize the truth. There are entire populations in our nation that are vastly different in intellect, temperament, and behavior.

Since they base their fiscal, legal, and social policies of this nation (including taxation and spending) on false premises, we are doomed to see even worse failure than we have witnessed.

Now, having said all of that, I weigh in with this: the measure of a human being by God is NOT their gift of intellect, athletic ability, physical beauty, or other trait. It was God Himself who gave each of us our gifts, and our makeup. God speaks of beauty, wisdom, ability in war, etc - assigned to each of us in the Bible. God knows what those things are! He invented them.

But, by the standards of the Gospel and His plan for Salvation, the measure of worth is what we do with His Son.

That is the standard. Someone of another race from me who has accepted Jesus Christ is my brother or sister, while someone who is theoretical genius of any race, but wicked in motivation and selfishness and has rejected Christ, is not.

We live in this world, a fallen world. God's standards are different. But as I currently live in this world, I know that the lies being fed to me regarding crime, race, achievement, wealth, and behavior are simply that - lies.

No it doesn't, the perps want to lie a little bit until this blows over, while continuing to stoke the fires. If they don't stoke, the rank and file of their (bowel) movement will throw them out. Sharpton:

the next demonstration will be by thousands of merchants who will lose business thanks to the NYC mayor, starting with dropping the ball revenue.

They will want De Blasio’s head on a spit.

This is peaceful?

Everyone who protested and encouraged the protesters has blood on their hands. They are responsible for these deaths. Any of them trying to excuse their actions with change of tones now are liars.
