Has anyone been seeing the almost unbearably facetious statement ,being broadcast over & over , by the Dish CEO , in the channel slot where Fox News should be ? How dare they pull this crap at Christmas ? I for one am about to cancel my Dish service . Forever.....

...Dish beams TV to about one in every seven U.S. households that subscribe to some form of TV package.

I am extremely skeptical of this claim.

That’s the way to do it!

Now if only folks would take a harder look at Disney and Comcast.

Is DirecTV still hooked up with Verizon? I’m a very happy Verizon customer, but haven’t followed that satellite situation (though I had it years ago.)

Dish didn’t pull Fox News, 21st Century Fox did. This is just another in a long string of contract disputes between content providers and program providers. Each side makes the other side sound like bad guys and they put up temporary websites accusing the other side of being unfair.

I don’t understand why there isn’t a conservative-based dish or cable company. It seems to me a no-brainer. Imagine customers that DON’T LEAVE.

Dish complaint phone number.

1-888-369-6397

I called yesterday and asked them why I’m not getting the channels that I am paying for.

The girl quickly offered me $5.00 per month off the bill or free movie channels for 3 months, which I accepted.

I urge all Dish customers to overload them with requests

Relax. They are negotiating.

Fox is trying to force higher rates for carrying their sports channels by bundling it with the Fox news channel.

Dish, as always, bargains hard. They aren’t afraid to play hardball in order to get the best rates.

And, of course, if you call Dish to complain now they will give you a credit or make some sort of offer to you. They aren’t stupid.

I really would not prefer to pay higher and higher rates because my TV provider just rolls over for content providers and passes the increases on to me.

Eight years ago I cut the Dish and got an XM radio. It carries the audio of Fox News and Fox Business. I don’t get to see the legs on the news readers but the content is there for much less money.

Then when Alan Combs voice comes on, I switch to the 60’s channel.

I use Tune-in radio on my phone and hear a lot of Fox News shows. I kind of believe Dish (I use them) that Fox News is pulling their news channels to increase their sport channel price. I like that Dish gives free previews of other channels at times.

In the meantime I am calling Dish today to get some free stuff!
