On his Monday radio broadcast, conservative talker Mark Levin hammered President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder in the wake of a string of incidents involving local police, which have become national issues Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, Eric Garner in New York City and the recent executions of two NYPD officers over the weekend.

The problem is that, the people WILL NOT be subjected. Remember gun and ammo sales have gone up the last couple years. Both will be used in time, mark my words.
Rather, I see a revolt coming.
That scenario while very possible will have to be preceeded by an un precedented catastrophic event or events. Even then, the level of mis trust and lack of unity among the ranks will have factions spliting and soon fighting. Talk about civil war????
Very possible.
I tell myself that often. It’s really becoming my sole consolation.
Thanks for the heads up on Mark’s hour last night.
“to Federalize the States National Guard and second Federalize county sheriffs and third city and municipal police.”
Never happen. Sheriffs are elected, not appointed by the fascist federal government. And state national guards are made up of your friends, neighbors and relatives. Their guns will be pointed at Washington DC.
It was a great hour BTW.
The Obola Admin has demonstrated, time and again, that they will do what they please by executive fiat, and the House will either comply or do nothing to stop them.
TINVOWOOT.
I’m glad that someone of prominence finally said it. Instead of falling into the trap of taking sides, we need to unite and point the finger at the Feds and the 0bama administration. Divide and conquer and distraction is the oldest trick in the world for dictators and despots.
Instead of engaging in a race war or public vs police war we should be talking about 0bama’s efforts to federalize police, violate the constitution, destroy the economy, and destabilize our foreign relations.
Look for the trifecta to occur:
* A financial panic (not even a collapse, a panic will do);
* Race riots spawned by another high-profile event;
* A mass-casualty event involving guns, especially "assault weapons".
Look for all three of these either all at once, or in rapid succession - that much rage will trigger the "coming future time".
They already proved in 2013 that the mechanism is in place; all they have to do now is pull the trigger and the revolution has arrived.
There is a precedent in nationalizing local police, with a modern European model, that makes this seem far more likely.
Specifically, in Germany, though the law was put into “abeyance” on 1 July 2011, for many years it operated like this:
The Basic Law includes a “military plus” draft. Men were obliged to serve either in the military, or do alternative civilian service as (local) police, or service in other “civil protection” jobs like fire departments. (During time of military cutbacks, many draftees had no choice but to become police or firemen.)
This sort of multifaceted draft makes socialists drool.
Importantly, all training was centralized, and local police would then be sent on active duty *outside* of their home area, so they would have no connections with the local residents. They enforced all levels of law: local, state, and national.
In the US, this would likely work like this: all local police would still be trained at their state’s police academy, but these academies would be run by the US Just Us Department. So all local police would be trained under federal (mandatory) “guidelines”.
The police would not only retain their military equipment they now have, but would be further augmented to become federal paramilitaries. Most police activities would be directed by the Department of Homeland Security.
But it would be very muddled, with much cross jurisdiction and confusion about who was really in charge. This would be intentional, as it would make it easy for any federal authority to directly intervene in any police matter, no matter how petty.
To make matters worse, the draft, and they would almost certainly have one, would have the option for becoming a police officer or working for all sorts of federal agencies or leftist NGOs. And, of course, if someone was politically conservative, they would likely be assigned something akin to forced labor.
This might take decades to bring about, but the only certain thing is that the RINOs and GOP-e would never stand against it.
Do you actually think either one of these scenarios is actually possible:
1. Nationalize all local police forces by Executive Order.
2. Get Congress to fund a National Police Force to replace all local police.
I don't think so. I have seen data that says the annual cost of local police is about $250 per citizen. That's about $1000 for every 4 citizens in the U.S. Well over $80 billion. Either Congress pays for that or the Federal Government just comes and takes it from all local governments.
Once again. I don't think so.
You have to understand, what you present is what is done in other countries. I do predict that things will stay as they are, with police on all levels being trained in a local college or police training school.
0bama has said that he wants to create a national police force. All the media attention to the “killings of unarmed etc etc” was to promote 0’s agenda.
I would dare suggest that the mechanism is already in place - one simply has to pull the trigger.
Congress recently funded ObamaCare and Obola’s amnesty - what makes you think they won’t rubberstamp any other part of his agenda?
And have you not read EO 13603?
Marked. If the idiots think they can nationalize the local police, their utopian bubble will be popped. Do they think that every sheriff in this country will just blindly obey dictates from Washington DC, even in the middle of a national emergency! Commies dream on.
Yes, but the leadership of the left is strongly Europhile. Time and again, they crave things that are much worse in Europe strictly because they are European.
For example, they have long pushed for $5/gal gasoline, just because that is what it costs in Europe. They constantly pretend that Sweden had functional socialism, even though it crumbled because of its never ending price tag. Even two Supreme Court justices want to adopt European precedence in deciding US law.
They are convinced beyond any doubt that because Europe is generally more socialist, everything they do there is better. Importantly, the US Democrat party is an unofficial member of the Socialist International, an organization of leftist political parties from around the world. (Though they have shied away from them after a US socialist party published the names of many Democrat congressmen who were actual members, and almost all of them subsequently got kicked out by the voters.)
Another one of their fantasies has long been socialized medicine, so at the first opportunity, they pass Obamacare, which would have been unthinkable before Obama and the post-W. Bush Republican massacre.
So, an opportunity to nationalize the police? You bet they would take it if they could.
If you have a terrorist attack and the terrorist are aligned with some militant group in the US it’s considered an act of war by the militant group.
Federal troops will be in the streets.
How to get Republicans to go along with some crazy-assed idea no matter how unconstitutional and destructive it is?
Simple. Fix up a deal where they can make a fast buck on it. As the man said, they would sell you the rope you're going to use to hang them.
Besides, who says they've got to vote on anything? All they've got to do is look the other way while 0 issues another decree, and say "Oh, we can't do anything about it because (fill in the drunk, blackmailed, turtle-faced excuse for the day)."
Which is why step 1 will be elimination of sheriffs, being replaced by appointed chiefs of police, with this being tied to eligibility for federal funding. Remember, our school systems used to be entirely independent from the feds too, once upon a time.
