K-mart is worthless. Big Lots, on the other hand, is a great store.

K-mart is worthless.
If you don't have a Walmart or Target nearby, it comes in handy. Also, they carry Sears appliances and some Craftsman tools these days.

Big Lots is rather random. K Marts may be spartan but you can pretty well count on what is going to be in them.
