Standing in the back of his shop on Broome Street not far from Manhattan's Chinatown, the owner of MNC EBike, a Chinese immigrant who called himself "Mister Lin," folded his arms tightly together as he reflected on the death of another immigrant from his home country -- Wenjian Liu, the New York City police officer shot to death while he and his partner sat in their patrol car Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn.
"Whenever you hear about something so violent like this, it's really difficult to accept," Lin explained in Mandarin.

In just one month, two high-profile cases -- the first Chinese-American NYPD officer to be killed in the line of duty and the November 20 death of an unarmed black man in a Brooklyn housing project, shot by a Chinese-American rookie police officer -- have collectively touched a nerve in New York's Chinese community, from which 4 percent of the city's police force has its roots.
On the streets of Chinatown early Monday morning, residents huddled around stacks of Chinese-language newspapers piled outside grocery stores, hunching over to read the headlines about Liu and his partner, Officer Rafael Ramos, who were gunned down execution-style this past weekend. The owner of the Ri Xin convenient store on Eldridge Street, who gave her surname as Liu (no relation to the officer), said she was shocked to read about the brazenness with which the killer, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, carried out the ambush against Liu and Ramos in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
"In China, people respect the police more," she said in Mandarin. "There, the police are looked at as officials with enormous power."(continued)

I suppose the concept of red beret wearing, Chinese-American Guardian Angels patrolling their neighborhoods is still a highly unlikely event. Ironic, considering the rich Asian heritage of Martial Arts. But the young asians of today may have no more connection with the Martial Arts as someone of Norweigian heritage identifies with being a Viking Warrior, as their ancestors were.
Very unlikely, though I understand from an old former Puerto Rican Guardian Angel, an acquaintance and workmate 20+ years ago, that there were a few Asian boys in that organization in the 70’s - 80’s.

Save it for the imprisoned Christians, tortured and killed Falun Gong, dogs and cats boiled alive for food, and German Shepards skinned alive for fur in China.

I’m not. The Chinese community is very insular in nyc. There’s a leadership community that influences Chinatown. They have no influence outside of the neighborhood borders.
They have fit into the Democrat family in nyc. They’re happy with that. If you know the dynamics, their reaction is predictable.

Of course, once the radicals now screaming for policemen's blood are themselves the police, then the line on resisting authority will change drastically.

You are making precisely the point I've often made myself about the vast difference between the Western (and especially the US) Left and the Left elsewhere (especially in the Third World).
However, remember that a journalist back in the late 60s/early 70s reported that the radicals he was interviewing at the time admitted that if the population after the "revolution" refused to adopt to the "new order" then up to 25 million people would have to be killed. He further stated that the radicals--with degrees from prestigious universities--began discussing the mechanics of murdering 25 million people . . . and they were perfectly serious. I'm sure someone on FR will be able to find the precise quote.
Something tells me that the "vopos" (volkspolizei/"people's police") won't just be blowing marijuana smoke in people's faces or hitting them with purses.
And many of those hippies will be first against the wall when they are no longer useful.

What leftist propagandist squeak and reality are two different things. We confronted Obuma’s SEIU “army” back in 2009 at a Tea Party rally, and they ran like little girls into a building and locked themselves inside. They cried for the police to come rescue them.
My test is to confront leftists in a dark parking lot with no witnesses around. I can only warn to stay back at least 10-feet so they don’t piss on you.
Retribution is a strong tenant of many Asian cultures.

Been that way for as long as I have been around, going on 50+ years. If and when push comes to shove between the different “minority” groups, blacks will be shoved to the back of the bus, permanently.
