I’m not trying to reach him.
He is lost and I guess he hasn’t the ability to pray to God.
I do, particularly for all great and important undertakings.
I wish and I pray the he finds God but, until one does, I don’t know how it is possible to reconcile oneself inwardly and find a direction that is more empowering.

I have a son who has “left” the faith for a time now....but he is an adult so after many tears and prayers I gave Him fully to the Lord who knows him so much better than I and loves him more.
It’s the letting go of them that’s so anguishing....you still think of them and love them but the struggle within ceases. Which is the relief I needed.
I remember that “He bore our grief and sorrows”...so it is with that verse I gave my son to the Lord along with the pain and sorrow....I knew right away God had done something within...I had PEace after that...remarkably so.
May you know that Peace very soon...

Give it to God and walk out of his life — don’t try to be a buffer in it.
You’ve scolded him enough for a lifetime. Don’t waste more wind hovering over him and hoping that this scold, that scold, the other scold will make it through.
