Give his situation to God, walk away, and let God arrange his careening into a wall.
His mother continues to be his last resort.
My idea, after these last several months and the tremendous amount of garbage, obtuse and adolescent rationale, is to let him fall hard.
Each day he is enabled is another month he doesn’t succeed at being at least a functioning adult.
I am done.
I had planned on starting a new business but, I want to leave bad enough that I am just going to get a job for a while.
I’ll make six figures as that is what my industry pays and I can earn.
I don’t see how I can succeed with this distraction and work from home.
Best to move on.
And besides, God must favor me, as I always earn in the top 5%.
I’ll develop the business on the side and when it reaches $10k in personal income, I’ll leave.
Bonus will be group insurance at a reasonable cost, my cell phone and gas paid for as well. That right there is $800 a month in reimbursed expense.
“I’ve got to be free,
I’ve got to be me...”
...”let God arrange his careening into a wall”...
That’s such good advice....sometimes we are working against God by holding on and trying to do something for them that God has other plans for...we actually can get in the way of the remarkable God intends to bring our family members into position where he will deal with them Himself.
A story of parents who had a daughter into drugs was worth the read...they’d done everything possible...and the last straw they told her if she got involved again they would kick her out.
Well, they did and she broke into their home anyway...so they had her arrested for breaking and entering. She ended up in jail and through that ended up off drugs. She is now a contributing memeber to society and clean ever since with a family of her own etc.
