so it’s only natural that Santa was very busy crossing state lines delivering guns big and small.

BATF will soon be sending a team to the North Pole to raid Santa's workshop.

The ATF was on Santa’s trail but lost him. No wonder the guns made it to their new owners.

I liked the photo of the Grandpa sitting in his Comfy Chair while aiming his AR-15 rifle. Caption says he also got a bottle of whiskey. Maybe if I’m real, real good, Santa will get me a rifle next Christmas!

Commenter "Italian Rose" asked: Could somebody tell me with a straight face tell me that your inalienable right to own a gun outweighs the nation's inalienable right to be free from gun violence.

See the stupidity meme we're up against? This is what passes for allowable thinking on the Left. As if "the nation" could somehow have an inalienable right! Not to mention the obvious fact that the solution to "gun violence" - which can only realistically mean criminal acts carried out with guns - IS the people's inalienable right to own a gun. The Left has literally conflated gun ownership with the act of committing crimes with guns.

Stupid? I used to think so. Except if you conflate any other right with a crime, like, oh, free speech for example, the same liberals turn into Constitutional scholars. But then they go stupid again when you bring up freedom of religion for Christians. But then they turn into scholars when you invoke it for Muslims or atheists.

Not stupid.

Evil.

This commenter looks somewhat familiar:

“Matt Bracken

Out of 100s of millions of privately owned guns, your 100 per year is microscopic. Ten times more kids die falling into buckets, and even more drown in pools. Ban pools and buckets, for the children! If you don’t want to ban pools and buckets, well, your agenda is revealed.”

Liberals. If you don't go in the woods during hunting season, if you don't go to the shooting range and if you don't try to assault or rob me, you will never see my firearms.

Commenter Matt Bracken wrote an outstanding multi-part response.

Gotta love the idiot who wrote we have an “inalienable right to be free from gun violence.”

What is the story on Walmart scaling back on its selection of firearms? They hardly have any listed. Have they knuckled in to the anti-gun politicians?

Rosenwald really stirred the pot, didn't he? I am inhaling the liberal outrage like rare incense.

Santa was particularly good to me this year in the form of a Sig Sauer P239. Problem is, I'm sort of snowed in at the moment and the range is out of reach. I could try it out indoors but I don't have a decent backstop now that the fridge is full of beer. Note to self: next time, buy a really long, skinny house. With a steel plate at one end.
