Under the cicumstances of the looters and such calling for death of officers troughout the nation cities... I would suspect this huge attendence was to show that they are and do support their own and people needed to see them out in mass united.
As for bad cops...there are bad people in every walk of life...take a look at churches and hospitals, politics etc. and many other fields of public service who throw their weight around. And they do so by using people who do have guns even if they might not carry themselves.
I’m a grest supporter of Police and always will be...warts and all. Government not so.
I read that Jet Blue was providing free airline tickets (2 per precinct) for any police officers wanting to come and support this family and officer.

I have to agree with you. I have seen Joe up close and personal at such an event like this, in Georgetown, DE when we lost a police officer in the line of duty on 2009.
He is extremely kind and his remarks are excellent on such occasions.

I cannot reconcile that Joe Biden with the Joe Biden who supports Obama.
From what I read, Ramos’ cousin said De Blasio would “not be turned away” if he decided to come. This tells me he wasn’t invited but the family was too classy to come out and say so.
I’m not aware of any invitation the family made to any of the race pimps who made this sad event necessary, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn’t consider it classy to let someone that indirectly caused someone’s death to come to their funeral. Cowardly, perhaps. Or maybe in too much shock or grief to even notice, poor family.

I feel really bad about not having my yorkie as a moniker. He has made me into a crazy dog lady, even though I didn’t even want him at first (I called my husband at work on day 3 with a new puppy and told him he had to go get himself another dog cuz I loved this one!).
But my imminent relocation to a self-sufficient, rural, not-feeding-the-fascist-beast life had me enthused enough to advertise it. We’ll be poor, but enjoying life and God’s creation while getting ready for whatever chaos this country is headed into. I hope others can figure a way to do the same eventually.
