Azealia Banks is still bothered by America’s history with slavery and took to Twitter to let everyone know about it!

The 23-year-old rapper believed that America owed money to blacks for putting them into slavery and stopping them from being successful in society.

“I don’t know why all the white people on my Twitter are saying I’m “playing the victim” cause I’m not… I really just want my [expletive] money,” the 23-year-old rapper tweeted on Saturday (December 27).

Azealia decided to voice her opinion after she stirred up some controversy by saying that she wanted to find descendants of slave traders the day before....

My great-great grandfather was in the NY 49th, fighting at The Wilderness and Spotsylvania Courthouse. He nearly died, and was discharged in 1865 for “extreme diarrhea” (I assume it was dysentery or cholera)

Certainly I should get a share of this money as well, no?

I think we should all be impressed with her, she is a fine musician and knows her history. However, I think she should have stayed in school longer to get to the real history not the post school liberal hyped one. She’s a typical HS drop out, but she was also a promising rapper who was successful. Maybe she’ll use some of her money to get a better education, but then again, she may not need to, as a successful singer. All she has to do is memorize the songs or follow the karaoke screen. If she continues to sing the same song politically, it will get boring.

Then [expletive] work for it.
