Give this NYPD slow down 3 months and the black communities will be up in arms because crime will have risen 90%....then they will be crying for police protection.
Here in NJ that is what happened; complaints about racial profiling on our main highways led state police to “stand down” (no longer interrupting the flow of guns & drugs to the northern cities), and violent crime quickly spiked. Because it is practically illegal to enforce laws when black perps are involved, the crime goes unchecked until it spills over into taxpaying neighborhoods on the frontiers of the welfare hatcheries.
