Reports that Islamic State militants in Mosul have contracted Ebola swirled though Iraqi media sources on Wednesday. World Health Organization officials said they haven't confirmed the cases, but the organization has reached out to offer assistance.

Three outlets reported that Ebola showed up at a hospital in Mosul, a city 250 miles north of Baghdad that's been under ISIS control since June 2014. The reports, however, have perpetuated mostly in pro-government and Kurdish media.

SNIP---

Citing an unnamed source in a Mosul hospital, Iraq's official pro-government newspaper, al Sabaah, said the disease arrived in Mosul from "terrorists" who came "from several countries" and Africa.

Let me ask you what I asked another guy just a while ago.

Have you no critical thinking skills?

Have you no critical thinking skills?
dumbest, least productive question ever asked on the Internet -- and, oddly enough, people seem to ask it all the time. And, even more oddly, they invariably seem very proud of themselves when they do it.

Payback.

With their sanitary standards, it could spread like wildfire.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of folks.

Excuse me for not feeling one bit of compassion or sympathy for the butchers.

“Both good and bad news.”

While I can see the danger of human Ebola bombs, and a very deadly disease in the middle of a chaotic war zone, I am somewhat pleased this is happening in the middle of Jihad Central.

These 7th century POS will find out how important disease was in deciding wars in pre-modern times.

No, it won’t be funny, as the Obola crowd will say NOTHING while bringing infected Isis creeps to hospitals here. Before they get too sick, the Isis guys will run off to a movie theatre and infect hundreds. All in the name of glorious Islam.

Unless they catapult the dead and dying from Ebola into the other people’s territory. It was a deadly medieval weapon where they would launch by catapult a human corpse or animal carcass, to cause a disease outbreak in the area under siege. Nowadays tey can just send infectees or messy human bombs to the other side.

They will just collect the fluids and go spray then out into crowds.

Pour it along escalator handrails.

A drone with spray bottles over crowds.

On food in supermarkets

Etc

The best scenario is that it spreads through their ranks and decimates them as a fighting force.

Ebola can be 50% fatal—more than decimate!

For now, it's unclear if any disease experts or doctors in Mosul are even able to test for the Ebola virus

It takes a well equipped lab to test for Ebola before the symptoms show up. However once the symptoms are present anyone can diagnose Ebola just with a brief note on a piece of paper. It also becomes too late to treat.

Take a blood sample from one of their dying jihadists, scratch a suicide volunteer with it, then quickly move him via predetermined and established means to the area of operations, there once he`s symptomatic, he`d begin infecting others?

Why would the ISIS bother with a volunteer? They'd infect a small crowd of civilians.

And the idiots in charge dont have the coconuts to annihilate these areas to parking lots or wont becuase they have the same belief system

The idiot in charge of our White House certainly has the same belief system as ISIS terrorists.

Ebola spreading through the Middle East, even if it were to badly damage ISIS, is not a good thing.

While somehow missing all the women and children they've taken as slaves.
