Pop starlet Selena Gomez was so heavily criticized for posting pictures of herself flashing her ankle inside Abu Dhabi's Grand Mosque on Instagram that she appears to have deleted the evidence altogether.
A second picture, showing Gomez and fellow musicians Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson and Shay Mitchell smiling and striking poses has also been lambasted but remained on her Instagram Thursday.
Mosque visiting rules strictly ban all 'intimate behavior' including holding hands and kissing, and states that all skirts must be ankle-length.
Commenting on the picture, Alaa Almitwally said: 'Disrecpectful! It's a religion place not a place to have fun in, so disappointed.'
Meanwhile another user, Ayisha Elturk, said: 'If their intent was to learn about Islam they wouldn't be posing like they were standing outside and amusement park.
'I like Selena Gomez but to have her do something like this makes me no longer a fan.'

Well, I am no fan of this star, but at this point I don’t give a tinker’s damn about them, their beliefs, their “sensibilities”,THEIR ANYTHING.
We are at the point of solving so many problems in medicine, science, space exploration, etc., all of which may be postponed or never achieved because we are spending our money, wasting our time, and compromising our liberties because of this maniacal cult if insane killers who serve a 7th Century bandit, liar, thief, murderer, pedophile and slaver.
AND If THERE ARE any out there reading this, I hope their “sensibilities” are offended every minute of every hour of every day until they are dead.

Somehow I just can't manage to get myself worked up about it. No...not even one little scintilla of outrage.
If you go into a site considered holy you should respect the rules of that culture. Perhaps us Westerners will find showing ankle not offensive in a religious site in the West but that is rules over there. The Vatican will not let you in if you do not follow their dress code. If you want to visit you are not allowed to wear shorts, no sleeveless shirts, no exposed shoulders, and women can wear skirts but the hemline must be below the knee. If someone decided to do a Selena like photo in St. Peter’s pulling up their skirt to expose their knees or thighs I would find that as a Catholic as offensive as Muslims found what Selena did. There is the saying “When in Rome”. I think all travelers should follow the rules and try to conform to local customs and etiquette even if we might as Westerners find them constrictive.
