I like to keep the mystery alive.

I am well connected to numerous nieces and nephews in NYPD and FDNY.

They give me the lowdown.

New York’s Finest were quietly expressing their First Amendment Right just as the Mayor approved of his Leftist fellow scumbags do.

Mayor de Blasio: 1st Amendment more important than traffic

Posted: Sep 23, 2014 9:14 PM CDT Updated: Oct 07, 2014 9:14 PM CDT

NEW YORK (AP) -

Mayor Bill de Blasio is defending protesters’ rights to demonstrate on New York City’s streets.

More than 100 people were arrested Monday in a climate change protest claiming that Wall St companies were destroying the earth. Many of them deliberately blocked roadways, snarling traffic in the nation’s financial capital.

De Blasio said Tuesday he thinks “the First Amendment is a little more important than traffic.” The mayor said that since New York is an international city and home to the United Nations, it has a “responsibility” to allow peaceful protests.

De Blasio, a Democrat who took office in January, is a former activist who participated in scores of protests. He was arrested last summer for protesting the closure of a Brooklyn hospital.

Media Reports “NYPD Saluted De Blasio At Funeral”… Now For ‘The Rest Of The Story’…

Last weekend, by some counts, 10,000 of the police present at the funeral of Officer Ramos turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio. Heads on the Left exploded in anger at the ‘rudeness’. Commissioner Bratton warned officers not to do it again this week.

So media was all atwitter over what the police reaction might be at the services for Officer Liu.

It seemed the hatchet might have been buried when multiple media outlets reported that the police had saluted de Blasio at the wake.

Yet, that wasn’t exactly the full story.

Two police officers were stationed at the door to the funeral home. Commissioner Bratton and the First Deputy Police Commissioner Benjamin Tucker were glued on either side of de Blasio as they walked up to the door. The salute by the two officers was for their superior officers as is customary, not a salute directed specifically for de Blasio, and not a reflection of a cooling of tensions.

Bratton has been wagging his scolding finger at NYPD cops for days now & they don’t seem to be getting the message.

He is so dissed, and his upcoming contract negotiations with the police union will be a real (can I say it?) riot.

Except.....I thought public sector employees weren’t supposed to be unionized. Oh, well.

I’d just refuse to give him any police service: Whether it be escort of his vehicle or body guard.

Take the politics out of this and what we have left are out-of-control cops and their union that protect each other. Fire them all. I’m really tired of people saying cops are good when they support their political views, bad when they don’t. What we have here are cops that overall don’t respect our Constitutional rights, that use excessive force, that don’t respect the public or obey their chief and mayor. That is more important to me than the politics, which change from one administration to another.

The NYPD really is New York’s Finest — their civil disobedience will resonate with the so-called leaders (the elected ones) throughout the country, and I believe will result in the early ouster of A.K.A. DeBlasio.

truth is the cops should not only turn their back on him... they should also bend over...and fart in his direction .. very loud and in unison.... that would be the ultimate case of giving him the “raspberries”

They're not ignoring Bratton. If you read his statement carefully, he's giving the paeans to di Blasio while giving tacit permission to the force to make their feelings known. It was a very carefully crafted piece of bureaucratese.

"I’m so glad they did this AGAIN!"

Congress needs to use that precedent when Traitorobama defecates his SOTU.

out of control?.. I think I would have been a hell of a thing if the Wehrmacht turn their back on Hitler...

To be out on control the cops like an army has to be doing some active “action” not passive “inaction”... turning you back is form of passive strike.. its “Gandhi”
