To read the story, you’d never think it was a case of absent parenting, though it does appear to cede that Michael went on a wild hair.

but not just the missing parent who chooses not to be there, but mostly because they are either locked up or dead.
I was in walmart the other day and one of the cashiers was an old, gray black man. I did a triple take because it occurred to me that I couldn’t remember the last time I saw a black man with gray hair.
