Monday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said police officers who turned their backs on him during the funeral services for two murdered NYPD officers were disrespectful to the mourning families and the people of New York City.
Mayor de Blasio said, “Those individuals who took certain actions this last week, or last two weeks, really, they were disrespectful to the families involved. That’s the bottom line. They were disrespectful to the families who had lost their loved ones. And I can’t understand why anyone would do such a thing in a context like that. I think it just defies a lot of what we all feel is the right and decent thing to do when you’re dealing with a family in pain. I also feel they were disrespectful to the people of this city.”
“At a time when I think the people of this city felt tremendous respect for the NYPD, some individuals, some individual officers showed disrespect to the families and the people of this city,” he added.

Being all buddy-buddy with an insurgent who is calling for police deaths is NOT disrespectful.
Them responding to your hatred and embrace of their deaths IS disrespectful.

He seems to think that “disrespect” is a one way street.
He embraces those who hate the police, then he forces himself on the police when they are in mourning, to make a political speech, much like Shakespeare’s Richard III, when he seduces Lady Anne as she is mourning her husband, murdered by Richard:
“I’ll marry Warwick’s youngest daughter.
What, though I kill’d her husband and her father?”
...and tells the audience that he will discard her once she has served her purpose. de Blasio in a nutshell.

How did this clueless moron ever get elected?......................................Really?? The low voter turnout was the answer, only the morons showed up to vote for him. Whoever ran against him wasn’t a Giuliani.
