So what if he tells you what you want to hear. Mitt Romney told people what they wanted to hear. Wasn’t true and didn’t change anything.

He did what he did. Act accordingly or not. Your call.

Nice to know your guy did what he promised! As we’ve seen, those stand up people are few and far between.

Heartwrenching day.

It really, truly has been. It’s as bad, for me, as when that scum that lives in the WH was elected in Nov. 2007.

Congratulations. And welcome.

If I'm not mistaken, I think McClintock also voted with Boehner FOR the CRomnibus.

Really wondering what' going on with him.

“Greatly disappointed in TX. Out of 36, only 3 were brave enough not to drink the koolaid.”

Well, when given the choice between morals, ethics, amd riding the gravy train a little while longer, they showed their colors.

Texas is a fine state, but God almighty you have some crappy politicians.

You can’t fix a problem unless you’re willing to admit the problem exists and honestly assess where you stand. As it regards electoral politics, conservatives are completely screwed. Not just partially, completely. I mean bent over and reamed.

Happily, we can choose to walk away from the theatre of the absurd and seek our own freedom. And maybe this will inspire some folks here and elsewhere to start looking for freedom away from politics.

“I KNOW for a fact that MY contributions will stop if his explanation isn’t what I want to hear!”

Unless you’re a whole lot wealthier than you let on, your contribution doesn’t matter anyway. Part of cromnibus included jacking up the amount of contributions a congress critter can receive.

No mystery really. He figured out what side the bread was buttered on.

Wouldn’t it be great if they switched parties? I’m thinking to a new party of their creation and of our values.

I will never give up fighting the good fight til my dying breathe. I understand the evil entity that humankind is up against. It has been misleading humankind since the beginning and continues to this day in trying to set up man's own heaven on earth. All the while, enslaving humankind to these forces by continuing to convince them to give up their God-given freedoms. All in the name of good but the world has been turned upsidedown where good is evil and evil is good.

We may once again be in the time of Noah and the time of Lot. Even good people were destroyed then because they gave up fighting the evil and speaking out. Though God's will may be already set in stone for this world, I humbly accept that, but I will never, ever give up fighting the good fight.

Republicans = Insanity.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

I’m done with them.

It just goes to show that there are 25 Republicans willing to serve the people who elected them. nearly 3/4th of which wanted the incompetent turncoat John Boehner gone.

The rest will have to be held accountable for every last thing John Boehner does. After so many years under John Boehner there is no excuse beyond crippling incompetent for any of them to be surprised. They ARE ALL accountable for his actions as leader.

Agreed.

If you can believe it, I can sadly, Loudermilk from GA is saying he voted Boehner (after promising before election that he would NOT) because “there were no other alternatives” GAG

“I will never give up fighting the good fight til my dying breath.”

Nor should you. I think you might be misunderstanding. Trying to bring decency and morality into politics is like trying to find chastity in a whorehouse. It simply isn’t to be found. However, there are other areas of life where we can and will win. Religion, culture, art, community, friendships, work, family, economics, to name a few. Why obsess over the few lost causes when there are so many winning ones? Our Lord had some great advice when dealing with ceasar. We should follow it.

Why in the world would you say something like that when our republic and Constitution is based on our God-given rights? You can't get any more decent or moral than that and that is what is worth fighting for.
