Just more proof there is no opposition party in Washington.

Typical Internationalist Authoritarian Control Freak Leftist pushing for more taxes on gas.

All based on a big lie where the so called "science" cooks the books on 1 of the 4 necessary elements in order to sustain life. The other 3 elements being oxygen, water and light.

A “carbon tax” is nothing but a wealth transfer from the poor to the rich.

Oh don’t you know it. I was expecting this. And when gasoline climbs back to all time highs, we’ll all feeling it. Oh by the way, once the tax is in place, over time they can and will increase it.

Isn’t it interesting how every government inspired “solution” involves increasing taxes?

Funny thing, but I don't remember anyone running on this, at least in the GOP. Anyone still want to question the idea that D.C. is out of control?

Aren’t gas taxes calculated on the number of gallons sold and not the dollar amount sold? Lower price will mean more gallons sold and more gas tax. I think this “carbon” tax is just a way to put a new tax in place while the price of gas is falling and thus won’t be noticed.

OPEC hates fracking. They are dumping oil in the market to put the frackers out of business.

Period.

Why not ask for a hard US debt ceiling. Just think of all that carbon pollution that more US debt creates.

The poor have no wealth to transfer. And that group grows larger each day. Pretty soon there will be no one to take money from.
