Texas Sen. Ted Cruz isn’t shy about stating his opinion, and his Tea Party stances have made him a strong contender to become a GOP 2016 presidential candidate.
A quick look through Cruz’s Twitter feed easily roots out his opinions on a variety of issues. Known for his anti-Obamacare campaigning and for instigating the government shutdown in 2013, Cruz makes it clear what he stands for — and what he won’t.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymenThis applies to every single R voter in 2016 and into the future. I really want to vote for Cruz/Palin, Palin/Cruz, Walker/Cruz, Cruz/Walker, Palin/Walker, Walker/Palin, but it WILL NOT happen as long as there's an R next to their name. Anybody stupid enough to vote for Republicans here on out deserves to be lost to posterity.

I just cant follow your logic. Of course, Im among those you call stupid...Perhaps you would be more comfortable on DU? This IS a Conservative forum, after all, and there's nothing whatsoever Conservative about the GOP. I personally don't enjoy getting bent over by "friends".

Well, well ... we seem to have no shortage of FAUX or “low information” conservatives doing the work of the ‘RATS for them.
Even though the DEFEATISTS and SUMMER SOLDIERS may stay home and pout, I plan on working HARD for TED CRUZ FOR PRESIDENT 2016 and courageous constitutional conservative candidates (this does NOT include any who voted for Boehner) for election to Congress.

I get so mad when I see Ted in the sub 5% category. Aren’t Americans smart enough to know that only Ted and Sarah give us any hope to reverse the premature slide toward Armageddon?

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite the face! If there was a rock solid conservative at the top of the ticket such as, Cruz, conservatives should definitely show up and vote. The key to changing the GOP starts by voting the bad leadership out and that starts with electing a strong conservative for President. As a conservative I’m sick of seeing this country go to garbage under liberal and RINO rule! If a conservative is at the top of the GOP ticket, then that is truly our vehicle for change, third parties never win and only hand the presidency over to tryants like Obama!

Face it - the GOP is nothing more than a bunch of backstabbing, traitorous wretches. If you like getting bent over and screwed by "friends", that's your call. I don't, and won't allow it any further.

third parties never win and only hand the presidency over to tryants like Obama!BS. Your vote for the GOP is only pushing the GOP further to the left, as is evidenced by recent events. If you think something is going to change in the party, you're only fooling yourself.

Jeez, I guess you’ve started on an anti-GOP jihad judging by your recent series of posts. As for me, I’m going to work HARD for TED CRUZ 2016. If we can unite and get him the nomination, I believe he will readily win the Presidential general election (even with “conservative” DEFEATISTS and SUMMER SOLDIERS sitting at home).
By the way, I have not been “bent over and screwed” by TED CRUZ and I highly doubt you have been—other than possibly in your imagination.
To: House Atreides
I have not been bent over and screwed by TED CRUZNever said I was. In fact, I said I'd love to vote for him. As long as there is no R next to his name. All you are doing by voting GOP at this point is pushing it to the left, plain and simple. Again, if that's what you want, go for it. I love my Country too much to keep allowing the garbage from the GOP.
